Austin Reeves is impressive, but at 20-25 million or whatever it would have took to get him, no way! We have 6'4/5" players everywhere right now
1. We have already too many players playing his position, that are better (Keldon, Devin)
2. Lakers wouldβve matched anyway. It wouldβve only hurt our relationship (or whats left of it) with Laker management
3. heβs the type of player that is good enough to make you pay him big time money.. but not good enough to be actually worth it
Reaves is shooting guard only player and he is not better than Vassell. That is why they did not offer sheet him. The fit just is not there
defensive liability with mediocre offense. not worth overpaying for him.

I wouldve rather take Reeves than Cam Payne, but I'm not losing sleep over not getting Reeves.
Yeah Reaves got absolutely bullied on defence. It was fun to watch π
Dudes extremely overrated cause he's a Laker playing with LeBron and Davis our current players like Devin and Keldon are better than him anyways
Austin reaves is overhyped I really donβt get the hype hes literally Jordan Poole but worse in every aspect I expect decline from him next year Iβm glad spurs didnβt get him a 100 mill
