What’s the shortest opening run you can reasonably give a starter lol 3 minutes? I’m almost tempted to say cool massage that ego and be done with it. I think it’s as bad an idea as anyone. I also think CP3 is 10000% correct in that it’s a question that can’t be answered sitting in a press conference in July… it has to be tested through camp and the actual preseason games.

If Chris Paul is gonna be a baby about it, let him start over Steph and then Steph comes in at the first stoppage and plays the rest of the quarter. Keep doing that til CP3 gets the point that nobody’s impressed by his starter status.
Edit: Judging by the downvotes, apparently some people would be impressed by a starter status won this way. I stand corrected.
