The Knicks Are About to Get a Superstar

A bigtime media person guaranteed the Knicks will get a superstar by this time next year. Then he named the stars: Giannis, Embiid or Donovan Mitchell. Is this a legit rumor and how did the Knicks become an attractive team despite being a joke for decades?

  1. Embiid would be great for the Knicks. Think of all the excuses he could come up with for never winning. Peanut butter meet Jelly.

  2. Giannis is not going to the knicks, the knicks are sorry asf and are never going to return to their glory days, stop boosting these sorry ahh teams

  3. If Giannis left Milwaukee, would he get a slander pass since he already won 2 MVP's, a DPOY, a championship and Finals MVP?

  4. Carmelo threatened to go to Miami and play with LeBron or the Lakers to help his wife's acting career. So the Knicks had to trade for him.

  5. The New York Knicks is quite possibly the most OVERRATED franchise ever. The "mecca" is a myth. The city is dirty, constantly under scaffolding, subway rundown, etc. The uniforms are plain. The logo is plain. They are like dirty water hotdog, only iconic because its been around since the 50's. City has stagnated. Team is bland. Pass.

  6. Giannis isn’t going to a team arguably worse than his current team; Mitchell’s got a good thing going in Cleveland, doubtable he leaves in the next year, let alone 2 or 3. Embiid, of those 3… has the biggest chance… But then again he said he wanted to compete for championships… What is Bill Simmons smoking?

  7. Nah but u need to trade Randle cause there's no way giannis or embiid is playing with him💀

  8. Giannis wants to win. But, will he take less money? Such a declaration seems empty if just signs another supermax. Especially with the new CBA rules.

  9. I feel like the Giannis signing for the Knicks is a win for the franchise it’s a step forward towards contention. And they are good market to go to now since they are in contention in a year from now. And he would look good in a Knicks jersey I would to see him play with brusion

  10. Bro, as a knicks fan. Thank you for only going back to 2011 and not to the isaiah days

  11. 3:23 never thought I’d see the day Drose and Kemba walker be considered the worst point guards in the league together 😅

  12. I stopped listening to Simmons years ago. But he’s probably right here. It’ll most likely be Embiid. BTW, nice revisionist history on the Knicks missing on Mitchell last year.,

  13. Idk if i got it right but where does Julius Randle stand in this? He was just an all-star last season and could make a big 3, make it big 4 with Mitchell

  14. Giannis to OKC would mean losing probably Josh Giddey, JDub, Isiah Joe and another role-player. Ofc he is probably the best in the world but could only manage to win a chip once. i’m still not sure if it’s worth risking such a young talented core for a single asset

  15. You need to wake up about Boentemps. He’s from NY and has a serious bias. He’s been spreading the DM rumor for months. It has zero basis in fact. None.

  16. I don’t think the bucks will trade Giannis unless he asks for a trade. Even if they are 99% certain he’s leaving, that 1% for a small franchise is enough to keep him and pray

  17. Mavs fan here, Brunson will be happy if it’s Embiid and Giannis joining him in NY. Brunson will he pissed if it’s Mitchell. That’s why he left the Mavs because of Luka (who he is cool with) being ball dominant.

  18. These trades bro be having, be okay until he say the amount of draft picks. I be falling off my chair laughing. He hasn't been the same since that Rudy trade lol.

  19. Might sound crazy and I know it’s Giannis but I’m keeping one of the three young wings ,it’s not a guarantee Mitchell is coming ,that’s all of the Knicks depth

  20. When the knock took Jalen Brunson, that's the sign that they are seriously building. Now they need Giannis to come in and kick out Julius.

  21. Man, i really love you content. The way you discussed your views, stating facts, etc. Dont die man.
