Could also be Roco/Batum in place of Mann with the starters but I think we finally need to start Mann and maximize his minutes because he’s one of our best players and fits.
This trade would give us a few more trade assets and let us maintain flexibility while clearing some of the log jam by just subtracting Morris. I believe we’d have to keep KPJ on the roster in order to not have to pay him, I think this is fine because we have a deep enough roster where that top 14 is good enough and we can live without a 15th player. Wed also still be able to trade KPJ and at the deadline or in the offseason before his guarantee date he’d have more value.
I included the Mavs because the Rockets may want more of a wing and Dallas could have interest in Mook but the trade could still work without them.
I think this is a low risk win trade for us. We need to clear up the roster and Morris is our best choice for that. Thoughts?
