He hasn’t played since January, he was getting revved up to return then apparently needed an experimental stem cell procedure?
His injury (especially with Brandon’s) ended our season last year. If he doesn’t return, this is going to be another lost season. I don’t think running Santi, Xavier, or Snack at the 5 is going to get us anywhere.
The [last official update I can find](https://twitter.com/DamichaelC/status/1652721175053606915?s=20) said the start of this season is “the target”, but that was from April. Has anyone seen anything definitive to make them think that Steven will be ready to go?

They should just go get Demarcus cousins. Idgf about “HeS A CaNc3R” bruh can set mean screens, bully on the boards, and he’s a bucket.
Any team that relies on JJJ is going to need someone to bail it out on the boards, and without Adams, the Grizzlies just don’t have it. This worries me way more than any uncertainty about Ja.
