Bro you’re obsessed with KPJ. It’s weird.

I knew who had posted this based off the title.

Solace is hated because he speaks the TRUTH!!! Behold his mighty wisdom ye mighty and despair!!

An aggregator took hyperbole seriously and wrote up a hit piece.

And yet, you somehow interpret this as legitimate reporting?

You are a hammer in search of nails, my guy…but there’s nothing to see here except an outsider’s view of the rehabilitation process.

Stone is a bum. Felicia needs to stop tweeting. Clean house Patrick.

I’m starting to get a feeling that all this Stone hate is targeting from an agent of some other client that wants the Rockets GM role.

KPJ was probably going to be traded anyway before this. Idoka is an old school coach who learned under Popovich. He won’t tolerate players being disrespectful towards coaches. He would have started the season but any discipline problems and he would have been out of there fast.

Stone made a calculated risk bringing KPJ here at virtually no cost, which most fans were on board with since the Rockets were just starting the rebuild and had no young talent. Those are the types of moves you make when tanking- if it works out, you have a young core piece down the road that you acquired for free, if not, you at least improve draft position while losing.

The Rockets gave KPJ EVERY chance to prove he could be a mature professional, and he didn’t live up to his end of the deal. And while it’s unfortunate he couldn’t get right, it still made sense to bring him in to see if he could reach his potential while still allowing the Rockets to get high draft picks, which make no mistake, was the primary goal the last 3 years and for any team trying to rebuild.

Stone has had some misses but hard to judge everything he’s done since he took over without considering every move he made before this offseason had to also preserve the tank.

I found this post insightful I don’t know why everyone else just decided to hate on it solely because you posted it 🤣

I get that this is a Solace post, but that article raises a lot of valid points. I get that we were tanking but you can’t tell me the only way to tank was to have this dude around and then extend him. The bar was literally “worst starting PG in the league” no fucking way was there nobody else who could do that. He should have been gone the moment he shoved Coach Lucas and left the arena. Trying to rehab the dude was a nice thing to do, but at some point the org should have seen the writing on the wall and moved on.
