Dame is much older and injury prone. No way I am giving up Maxey for Dame. I would take my chances with Maxey even if it means potentially losing Embiid. I would build around Maxey if that happens. Love Maxey for our future. I'd trade Embiid before I trade Maxey. I really think we will regret it for years and years if we trade Maxey. Remember the Jeff Ruland for Moses Malone trade? It’s a big risk to trade Maxey. It’s a bigger risk to not trade for Lillard if he is indeed on the table. If Harden wasn’t capable of reaching the east finals how on earth is Maxey going to be that answer when the team took a step backwards on roster talent. Not trading for Lillard screams rebuild.

Can't add Maxey in a Dame deal. Dame is a great player. He's also 33. Embiid is always a play away from being out of the line-up. Lastly, we saw this with the Clippers right? We saw what happened with SGA. They gave up SGA and ton of picks to get PG. Now for them it was basically Kawhi and PG for SGA and picks. Philly would be giving up Maxey and picks for a 33 year old guy who might not want to be there and still doesn't make them better then Milwaukee or Boston.

If he can pick up on his facilitating skills he's going to do great things. Dame can't play a full season is injury prone. And as great as he is we already have an injury prone embiid a injury prone disgruntled harden why bring another injury prone aging guard who will also be disgruntled because he wanted to go to the Miami heat? A disgruntled Damien Lillard does the sixers no favors. His heart and head won't be on the game. And we don't need another James harden situation.

Fuck no, Maxey is the core of the Sixers future, he has an unbeatable work ethic, ceiling with potential, he’s talented, and he WANTS to be here. That’s not debatable in my opinion, and Dame (who doesn’t want to be here, is aging and is leaving his prime – NOT entering it) won’t guarantee us a chip anyway. If the Sixers are smart, or any fan who actually watches and knows Maxey’s game, KNOWS that trading him for anyone is a terrible idea – you BUILD AROUND players like him.
There is no guaranteed that bring Damian Lillard o the 76ers will win a championship. Bite the bullet keep Maxey and hope Nick Nurse can do wonders with the roster he is given. Star hunting does not always lead to a championship. Denver did it the right way!!!
