[Dumas] Source: Dwight Howard has wrapped up his two-day interview process with the Warriors. A decision could come as soon as today. The vets have signed off on the idea of bringing Dwight into the fold. He will now head to LA to workout with Draymond & CP3 on Thursday.

Dwight, CP3, Klay, Steph and Draymond would be a crazy team in 2017

I honestly hope this doesn’t happen. Could come in and play Jokic tough for 6 quick fouls.

The Warriors were picking between Dwight and Tony Bradley it seemed like. I think the vets would rather have Dwight and trust Dwight more. I think it’s pretty even in terms of on court production, but Dwight is probably even now still the better athlete and thus better offensive threat as a play finisher, so I’d give him the edge. Would love to see him back. I also love to see traditional centers making a comeback again on benches.

  4. The bad thing about Dwight is locker room.

The good thing about him is that he knows the correct play and what to do, even if his body may not keep up. That’s a big difference compared to the young squad last year, who was very athletic but looked lost on the court.

Slam magazine has a chance to do something really funny.

Isnt he fighting a case right now??

Tbh if they ever go up against Denver heโ€™d be great to slow down Jokic for like 4 mins ๐Ÿ˜‚ tbh not bad for an end of the bench type player

Uh oh… someone’s about to get **smoked**… the **meat** is cookin’ ๐Ÿ˜ค

I’m getting a Gary Payton and Karl Malone to the Lakers vibe from CP3 and Dwight here.

All for Dwight Howard to play in the NBA, I wonder how the media will treat his alleged trysts this time.

GSW adding another all star to their superteam

This locker room is going to be interesting. I could see awkward silence being common after Draymond or CP call out Dwight for being a general tool. Then Dray and CP arguing just because thatโ€™s what they do.

  13. Paused_Toast

How long til Dray and CP get tired of his antics.

Pretty crazy how good of shape Dwight stays in. Not sure if many people would’ve predicted him still being in the league at 38 considering his injury history.

Can you imagine CP3 and Dwight being your back-ups.

If only we could turn back the clock a little ๐Ÿ˜‰

Those two in their primes together would have been incredible.

  16. CabbageStockExchange

Dwight and CP3 playing together? Nonsense

Regardless if he gets signed or not, you can’t deny his work ethic. He’s still in freakishly great shape and conditioning for his age.

The โ€˜24 Warriors have this โ€˜04 Lakers feel to them

I watched some of Dwight’s highlights in Taiwan…if they plan to have him as a vibe or deliberate fouls guy, sure. But there’s no question he’s been washed as hell. Lots of people say Rudy gets played off the court; what do they think is gonna happen with Dwight?

  20. Gontofinddad

    They always need rebounding.

Theyโ€™ll have a solid C rotation with Dwight, Looney, Garuba, Draymond or Saric.

  21. NickCrowder

Last test before signing : can he take a Draymond punch to the face?

  22. chadowmantis

If he doesn’t immediately start complaining about not getting enough touches in the paint, then this life is not fair ๐Ÿ™
