The Bulls would have to give up too much for Damian Lillard and he wants to play for a title contender and let's face it as much as I would love to see Damian Lillard with the Bulls They just won't be able to make a good team around him that can compete for a championship. At least not right away maybe in a few years but I don't think Dame wants to wait that long

The Bulls should be in rebuild mode this season. I expect to see DeMar and Zach traded by mid Dec. It doesn't make sense to add another aging, undersized vet to play alongside undersized Jevon Carter and co.

If you could trade everyone BUT Lavine/DeRozan I would trade for Dame. Meaning Patrick Williams Lonzo Ball (to make salary work) Coby White Ayo Dosunmu Alex Caruso and give Portland their pick back along with some 2nd round picks/pick swaps the Bulls should 100% do it
The bulls would not have to give up much if Damian Lillard was trying to force a trade but since he stands on the fence they are not rushing to trade him if he had more urgency to get out of there they would definitely take a low ball for him

He’s an actual starting pg that is a legit superstar, zach is neither of those things. The heat narrative was created by his agent and dame has walked that back a bit. The bulls DO NOT have a starting pg on the roster. Trading Zach is the blessing of it all not the curse. The current bulls roster is picking 7th in the lottery. Herro is completely unreliable and inconsistent.
I highly doubt we are trying to trade for Dame. IF WE DO, I'll be moving on to a new franchise to watch.

There is no possible world where this makes sense for anyone period. We really just need the season to start.
I don't think Dame is that type to not show up to camp and play for the team he's traded to. But also, the Blazers are going to want young players and picks. That doesn't mean that those players would have to come from the Bulls. For example, they gauged interest with the Knicks for Zach. Zach goes to the Knicks, the Knicks send picks, young players etc to the Blazers, the Bulls get Dame. Would I do it? Probably not. But I don't think it's an impossibility.
Who is getting hyped over Dame to Bulls? It doesn't make no sense for Bulls. Basically, certain group people, are getting hyped over EVERY player who comes to trade block.
