Too bad he made the mistake of looking to be Ants vet. That’s a one year role then onto the next

I know we signed a few training camp deals but do we still have an open roster spot? I feel like it makes a lot of sense to re-sign him. Gives us a little more much needed guard depth and a good presence in the locker room.

Maybe he should focus on playing better instead of running his mouth

Los key i liked Austin for us – his in game minutes we’re up and down but when he was on it was a great change of pace for us. Also his locker room presence was clearly hood for the team especially young guns. Maybe with Mike Conley here they said “all good in the vets that play less than 5 mins a game”.

He seemed like a good part of the team last year. Vet and dependable for what they need from him. The Wolves have enough young bench fodder, Rivers seems like a good player to have in the mix. But just my opinion.

I like Rivers for the Wolves last year and probably would have wanted him back if the Conley trade didn’t happen. Conley fills that leadership void more effectively while also doing a lot of what Rivers did effectively on the court (chase guys around screens) plus plenty of other things.
