  1. Buddy never satisfied we found that out here in Sacramento the man can shoot 3's with the best of them but what else he got especially since he wants more big dollars

  2. I think it has more to do with the role than the $. Buddy had probably his best season of his career last year and to be rewarded with a diminished role would make one feel "not appreciated". The problem is a positive one though Pacers just got too much depth at his position

  3. My take reading between the tea leaves, is their going with Mathurin to start with Brown and he didn't want to come off the bench playing 15 minutes.

  4. If we didn't even offer him any kind of extension, it drives down our power at trade table. You have to at least make othee teams think we have some desire to keep him and just be willing to give him away for nothing. The offer wasnt going to be accepted, it was for optics alone.

  5. Question is what do you want from the trade?1st round pick?theres a lot sense for other teams but not so for pacers because they already have complete players per position.

Maybe siakam??😅🤣 i think picks will be the best trades for the pacers

  6. This shouldn't come as a surprise pacers wanted to get better defensively so they signed bruce brown you dont sign him to bring him off the bench mathurin is going to start along with obi that leaves a elite shooter that the league will values to come off the bench it was going to happen at the deadline in my opinion might as well get it done now but shout-out to buddy for being a pro his time here he easily could of said trade me to a contender

  7. Literally less then zero chance Buddy Hield signs any sort of extension.

I watched every possesion the last 40-50 games of last season and i got to a point that id fast forward the minutes Buddy was on the court. It was like fingernails on the chalkboard. Literally the ONLY thing Buddy Hield does well is shoot 3 pointers. Hes the last person You want on the roster handling the ball in crunch time. Hes way too non chalant after team losses and cant wait to hug every opposing player after the game.

A good game for Buddy is 4 made 3 pointers. Doesnt matter if Pacers won the game. In Buddys eyes that was great game.

I challenge anyone to watch Buddys minutes the last 30-50 games of the season and if You still believe Hes A high value player then dont smoke weed the next time You watch it.

Thank God Larry Bird and Kevin Pritchard watch the same Game i do and understand that winning basketball is WAY WAY more then how many 3 point shots you make.

Buddy Hield is a losing basketball player. The Pacers will be more then fine. Winning was optional the last two years. Budddy should be forever thankful they let him start past two seasons. They actually want to win this year. Goodbye Buddy.

    Thank God

  8. Buddy Hield a very valuable player? So valuable he was a throw in in the Haliburton trade and Lakers wouldnt even give up a 1st rd pick 7 years from now and would have been able to dump westbrooks salary. They still wouldnt do it. The Lakers REALLY needed 3 point shooters last year. Still wouldnt do it. What the Hell else do You need to know. The Lakers GM should have won GM of the year last year so He knows what the Hell He is doing.

Milwaukee Bucks would be a home run fit for Buddy Hield and i honestly think Hed flourish there. They have the defensive personnel and culture to make it work with him on the court.

Terrible fit on any up and coming team like Atlanta, OKC or even A team like Brooklyn. An established championship ready team with veterans and a culture would be A good spot for Buddy.

  9. Not in a million years would the knicks trade Hart for Buddy. Not in 2 million years would Philly trade Melton for Buddy.

Anyone on the planet that thinks Buddy is better then either one of those players im not going to waste one second of my life arguing.

Pacers would trade Buddy for Hart or Melton in less then one second.

  10. Cam and Rui for Buddy after the ides of January but I'd love to get De'Andre Hunter for Buddy. Maybe give ATL a pick or two. 🤷🏾‍♀️

  11. Hey Tony

If you are ever anywhere near Seymour feel free to come to my barber shop for a free haircut😊I love your podcast and watch it almost daily. It would be an honor to get to chat Pacers with you during the cut!

My shop's name is Fit for a King if you want to look it up.

  12. This trade was inevitable, and now this opens up next season for Mathurin to shine, and develop as a starter. Hoping to get some first rounders or a decent role player and picks

  13. I say we get expiring's and a first. In the future we will trade (probably) Brown and a center and two or three firsts… for a starting small forward. There are some very good FA wings next summer. So we in effect trade Buddy, for a piece of OG. Trading a great shooter for scrubs and a pick, allow us play our youngsters and makes our 1st more valuable.
If we trade him for long term low potential bits , that keep us jammed up with guards, I'll be disappointed.

  14. It’s a must do for the future. Imo I’d just try to get a pick out of it to potentially trade for a player we may need during or after the season. Siakim would be my choice 😂😂

  15. I'm glad that we A) offered Buddy an extension that made sense for us, and we're now B) looking to trade him asap with plenty of time to get a deal done. Feels good to have a competent management.

  16. I take back all my previous predictions now that were moving Hield.
This team will probably be a 8th seed and be lucky to make the playoffs

  17. Pacers could help out the Heat/Blazers trade.. Maybe Hield and either Nwora or Nesmith to Portland with the pick from the Nuggets trade.. Pacers get Herro

  18. If thebPacers want to trade for Siakam, I'd be down for it.
I think it'd prolly be something like:
    Hield
    Wong or Sheppard
    Smith or Jackson
    And a 1st + 2nd round pick
Now idk if this would work it's all make believe, but I think it's a decent offer

  19. What do you think about a Buddy to Dallas for Tim Hardaway Jr and maybe a second round pick. Dallas has wanted to unload THJ for awhile it seems and he would add some defense and still is a decent 3 point shooter (shot 38.5% last year) He has 2 years left on his contract and his salary goes down next year making him an good value expiring contract for next year. He is an older player that can help the young guys as well. Buddy has a house in Dallas so it makes too much sense. Also Rick coached THJ in Dallas a few years.
