Dwight has my stamp of approval, but for anyone that thinks he's a "clown" and that he will/should absorb the Dubs' seriousness, I disagree. Tge Dubs have always won more when they have a Juan Toscano Anderson or a Kent Bazemore or Iggy or Boogie cheering from the bench ( and Dwight does this)… the free-flowing read and react offense works best when they're having fun. The art of setting a good pick in today's game is so rare that we all know who does it… Looney, Dray, Steven Adam's, Jonas Valicunias, AD and Brook Lopez (last 2 to a lesser extent). Dwight sts real picks. He plays good defense, swats away the lobs that teams like the Lakers have been killing us with for 2 years and he's a good guy to give TJD some guidance. He can keep Loon out of foul trouble and low minutes will keep him more durable for the Lakers/Celtics/ Bucks in the playoffs.
I should've mentioned that he's a good Pick and roll defender and will allow Saric to play more minutes at the 4. Which would allow Kuminga to spend more time at the 3. The Warriors have a reputation for getting the best from the unappreciated and disrespected. Wiggs, Otto Porter Jr., Bjelica, Divincienzo etc. They might as well post a plaque saying "give me your tired, your poor, your benched masses" Let him show why he deserved to be in the 75th anniversary team more than AD.
I don't think Paul and Draymond are gonna let Howard be clownish. They're trying to win a title and there's no room for messing about. Hopefully, Howard comes on board and understands that.
I say why not, at least he can defend in the paint and set the screens for the best shooters ❤
