  1. What do you think are the most important benefits of this pre-training camp get together? And how do you feel about Pat Bev's comment on Vando? Comment down below!

Thanks for watching and don't forget to drop a like + subscribe to the channel if you have not already! 🙂

  2. Pat bev really swore up and down in his pod he wouldn't take less then 13 a year got a vet minimum lol and i like pat but sometimes he a 🤡

  3. A backup sg is not super necessary for this team because of the fact that both d’lo and AR can play off the ball

  4. I think what Pat Bev is saying is actually stating a fact that if some players wait a little bit.

They can actually get more as a free agent instead of going to the contract extension.

That means the player is betting on themselves that they will still hold that value or it will even increase.

A lot of players bet on them selves and actually lost value. Look at Dennis Schroeder for example.

I am just surprised they were able to get all the players they were able to sign.

If anything, Reeves is a bit of an underpay and Rui is a bit of an overpay. DLo is a fair prove it contract or a hometown discount.

  5. I am really excited for Preseason to start to see how the lineups will look with the new players.

  6. I feel like we have what it takes to beat Denver this year. We just need a solid ahooting guard who can defend but let's see the development of Christie and Reddish.

  7. Pat Bev is wrong. Vanderbilt is not like a Julius Randle or Odom. He is like a PJ Tucker or Bruce Bowen long term

  8. I'm sorry the Lakers ain't shhhhhh! The will start off the new season like lasy season piling up significant losses and find themselves near the bottom of the Western Conference. By midseason the Lakers GM will be so upset with the team they will almost totally remake the team by getting rid of quite a few players by draft just like the did last year. The team chemistry will never be there as long as Lebron James is on the team. Why would there be any team chemistry , Lebron isn't loyal to any team he's played for. He creates these superteam to win a championship but, that recipie isn't working anymore . 2019 is and was the last time you will ever associate Lebron with a winning season , The lakers only got that because of an abbreviated BUBBLE seaon where most teams did not have their best players throughout the season. I'd imagine he will be taking talents soon to another team or finally retire because there is not another ring in him.

  9. I THINK HAM HAVE THE PLAYERS THAT ALL CAN PLAY MIN IF HE DO IT RT BUT HE LOVE HIS SMALL BALL I BELIEVE HE NEED TO LET THAT GO OR DONT USED IT MUCH BUT I BELIEVE THE LAKERS WILL HAVE A GREAT YEAR IF HAM DO THINGS RT WE ALL WILL SEE I AM HAPPY ABOUT THIS YEAR

  10. Haze and Reddish are very underrated. It's been popular to write them off. The only thing inconsistent about their game is the time on the floor they've received. Go Lakers

  11. I enjoy your insights on the minsets of LeBron, AD, the coaches vis-a-vis the players trying to make the roster and moving up the depth chart… all the 'above the shoulders' stuff, to quote my son. SoCalFreddy Lakers Purple and Gold since forever!

  12. Vanderbilt signing the extension was probably the correct call. Vanderbilt having what's basically a mid-level exception contract in his back pocket is a win/win for him and the Lakers.

The fact is that Vanderbilt's probably going to have some trouble getting minutes this season and even that mid-level exception contract is far from guaranteed. The Lakers front court is fairly loaded. The front court only has 144 minutes in a regulation game, and Lebron and Davis are going to take rough half of those minutes when they suit up. Which is going to leave Vanderbilt, Rui, Wood, Prince, Hayes, and Reddish all fighting over the remaining 75 minutes or so. Go ahead and start mixing and matching lineup. Someone's going to be missing out, and it's very possible that Vanderbilt could have been facing going into free agency following a year where he didn't see much of the floor. Good luck getting an 8-digit contract then.

Now the Lakers have given Vanderbilt security. They can play him for 12 minutes a night, let him be a high-energy player, let him charge the locker room, and not spend the entire time watching money drain from his bank account while he provides what the team needs.

And the Lakers get to keep a happy player who still has a future with the team once Wood moves on, Lebron retires, and/or Rui and Russell get packaged together for an upgrade at guard.
