  1. " If the Heat do lose out on Damian Lillard it is not going to be because they were not aggressive enough" Couldn't disagree with that statement more. It was stated that Riley didn't want to give up anymore than the absolute minimal of what was needed to acquire Lillard. If we miss out on Dame it will be because Riley was playing it too cool and this fan base should be outraged

  2. The Raptors have the inside track and Cronin is motivated to work with them and he hates the Heat

  3. The Celtics dont want to give up Jalen Brown,,,do u think Portland want a 34 yr old DeRozan from the Bulls?
The same thing w/ the Philly,,,they dont give up Tyrese Maxie,,,even the Bucks they have Drue Holiday,,,the Raptors also,,,they dont like to give up OG and Scottie Barnes!
So i would love if the heat could land Buddy Hield while waiting for Dame and stop this fake news and rumors!!! 🔥

  4. People think im crazy but i believe the league has secretly stepped in and is facilitating a move to any team but miami watch the deal wont be any better and will probably be worse then what the heat is willing to offer watch.

  5. Why you guys don't stop talking about dame Lillard. Why do you think if dame Lillard come to the heat he is going to win a championship…

  6. People who are desperate and want to give Portland everything to sign Dame have not been paying close enough attention to what the Heat coaching staff has been able to achieve from year to year. Portland doesn’t deserve a big haul they made their choice. They should be happy with what ever Pat decides to give them.

  7. Unbelievable Pat Riley is unwilling to come up on whatever the offer is smh Dame is a generational talent that takes us over the top man and maximize Jimmy n Bams Championship Window

  8. Watch the Riley speech after the season. He said he was going to aim for the fences but not take a sledgehammer to the team. I'm such a die hard I think we're fine with or without Dame. If we don't get him I'll wish we gave Max and Gabe their money loll. RUN IT BACK. I'm a masochist.

  9. Heat keep playing passive aggressive on this trade. If Heat want Dame then quit playing low ball game with Cronin with Lame offer of Tyler Zero and a few crappy picks. PDX wants to honor Dame and send him to Miami, but not for lunch money back.

  10. Heat are not gonna be aggressive bc they like where they’re at. If they get Dame for THEIR PRICE, cool. They’re not gonna worry if they don’t get him. Only the Heat fans will throw a tantrum for Riley’s head

  11. *GoldTerd "Dame, Tatum, Brown, Porzingis & Horford is a fine starting 5. They'd be good." Seriously? That's an elite level starting 5 that is a for sure contender idc who's on the bench. Its a better starting 5 than MIA has w/Dame. You tried it tho.

  12. As a portland fan i hope Dame ends up on the heat.

But ngl i really want a Scoot, Sharpe, Grady, Grant, Ayton line up. And Grady is on the Raptors.

So, let's all hope Mr. Pat offers Herro to the Raptors in exchange for Grady going to portland. Damn it now im going to be on trade machine for hours.😅

  13. it’s gonna feel bad to have so many hours put into damian lillard if he ends up somewhere else

  14. It has NEVER been about Barnes. Blazers have always wanted OG. And Blazers in a 3 way trade with pheonix to Aquire ayton for Nurkic.

  15. If the Heats think crumb is gonna get then Dame 😂Good luck witchu ridiculous ahh 🤦🏾‍♂️ 😂

  16. Pat Snake 🐍 Riley and his son in law Spo doesn't know communication with young players, they need to keep all our young players period the problem is Pat needs to RETIRE ASAP 😡 & Player HATER SPOELSTRA need to be TRADED TO PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS Hire new COACHING Staff like Malik Allen Caron Butler and Eric Class as our new young CORE for our young players a knew ARA

  17. I’m glad Miami may lose the chance to get Dame. They tried to lowball us this entire time!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good job Miami!!! Keep your little trash Tyler Herro offer!!

No chip for Miami this year without Dame!!! 🤣🤣🤣

  18. Future lesson here, there are no friends in business. Should’ve asked for a no trade clause. Either way, we are getting Dame.

  19. Raptors fan here. The trade would be: OG, Boucher, Otto + Dick + Picks for Dame. We actually don't lose any of our depth. The problem with Miami is , Herro is a one way player (offense). If yall don't throw in Hero, Martin , Jovic/Jaquez + Picks. Your deal ain't happening.

  20. GoldBert did u really just say sumth'n about Miami being the most motivated to get a deal done? U shouldve been a politician. Toronto has been the most motivated. Riley's the coolest for sure. Too cool to compromise even if its good for both sides. He thought you guys had Dame in the bag and Cronin at your mercy. Things aren't what they seem. 😉

  21. I know you guys don't read comments, but why is reporting so all over the place. "Insiders" are saying an official offer was never made because Portland never told Miami what they want and you guys say an official trade was made. One source says Miami is the front runner, the other source says they haven't spoken since Vegas and those talks weren't of any significance. One source says the Heat aren't desperate another source says they are . This is nuts.

The one thing I've learned since this all started is either no one knows anything or someone knows everything. As a Heat fan, all this back and forth and constant contradiction sometimes by the same people has been extremely annoying. I think the best thing to do is shut off all these opinion shows and tune back in to basketball when the season starts and just be surprised by whoever is there or not there.

  22. The trade just went down. Lowry, Jovic, Jaime Jaquez, Caleb and two first round picks. Let’s goo!

  23. I'm only 10 minutes in so if someone brings this up later please disregard.

My opinion on this situation has not changed since it was first reported: if Miami can pull off a trade for Dame (without compromising the roster so much that it diminishes Miami's chance to compete for a championship) great. If they can't for whatever reason, be it Portland's spite or better trade package or what-have-you, then we keep it moving. All of this is pure speculation. When something happens, it will happen, and chances are it's either going to be what we all expected, or what no one expected. That's #1.

#2 all this discussion about Raptors showing interest in Dame and they may have the pieces Portland likes. Guys: you realize if this happens, Dame will be in the same situation he currently finds himself in: a franchise that is midteir at the moment who will not have enough pieces to compete for a chip. Dame wants to win and he feels Miami is the best fit for him to win. He would immediately make an impact especially since Miami has demonstrated that they are so close to going through the door they've knocked on twice in four years. Dame would be the piece that gets them over the hump in my opinion.

If Portland goes this route and trades Dame to the Raptors and leaves the Raptors so depleted that it basically leaves Dame stranded, then Portland really has no respect for Dame and what he has done for that franchise.

When Shaq heard wind that Lakers wanted to move him he said, "Fine, get me to Miami" and they did out of respect for what Shaq did for that franchise. Now Dame does not have a three-peat under his belt but I'm sure in his tenure with Portland, he's generated most of the revenue for that club, jerseys, ticket sales, the whole 9. You don't like the way he asked to go? (Nevermind the fact that you didn't keep up your end of the bargain in getting this man the pieces needed to compete for a championship year after year?) Fine. I get it. He took away bargaining leverage by openly talking about his only preferred destination. Dame has been fined by the NBA and warned not to discuss this in public again. Now, can you do right by this man, tell people what you are looking for so other clubs can facilitate the best deal for you, so we can all move on?!?! At this point, this saga is getting as ridiculously comical as Ross and Rachel's will-they-won't-they-drama!

To summarize: If Portland trades Dame anywhere else but his preferred destination, then they are doing it out of spite. They'll publicly claim it's because "we wanted the best deal we could get for our franchise player," but everyone will know, they did Dame dirty by ignoring his wish. Simple as that.

This rant brought to you by a man who is just ready for the NBA season to begin regardless of what happens. I miss Miami Heat basketball. Now I shall continue to watch the video.

P.s. for those saying "too bad. He doesn't get what he wants. He's under contract." I understand that fact (though it's said out of your dislike for Miami, deny it all you want, you know it's true) and you're right. But this isn't about contracts. Dame didn't sign his soul to the devil for a monkey paw. This contract is man made and what man does, man can undo, especially when promises made were not fulfilled. This is a man who kills his body to be in peak form every year, why? For his health, for money? Endorsements? No. It's to win. To compete. The same people who say players only care about branding more that performing, here is a player who is truly dedicated to being a champion. He's looking for help and his franchise isn't giving it to him. Is he supposed to stay because he signed a contract? Especially when he signed because he was promised these things and they haven't produced any and show no sign of doing so? You expect loyalty from a player, the franchise should be held to the same standard. So don't ever bitch about how "players have all the power. The NBA is a player run league." This situation is proof of the contrary. .

  24. I'm sick of tired of all thos talk and nothing happening call pat Riley the godfather but nothing happening

  25. Why doesn't Dame go around Cronin and plead his case to the Blazers' owner or the league commissioner? He's a Hall of Fame player who was promised he could pick his destination if both parties wanted to part ways. This is disrespectful to a man who has been a shining star for the league and resurrected a wasteland of a franchise. Has Dame done either of those things? Should Dame make a bigger mess, like Durant, Harden, or any other Superstar? He should. This is all on Dame, especially if he doesn't want his new team gutted for a petulant GM who lied to him.

  26. Wouldn't if be funny if this wes goldberg fella was actually nervous and stressed.and he loses all his hair. Hey wes if dame doesn't get traded elsewhere will you shave off your eyebrows to remind us all of that you are a doubting little b😂
