The Miami Heat believe they could win the East with their current roster and will not act ‘desperate’ for Damian Lillard, per @EthanJSkolnick (Via @5ReasonsSports )

It’s ok. lillard has the heat to blame for that, not the blazers. And I doubt that considering they lost some of their depth this off-season. I don’t see how that team is improved at all from last year

maybe, if the season started right now post trade deadline. but if lillard goes to the east, and all signs are pointing that way, it won’t be a cake walk. miami guys are acting like josh richardson is the second coming tho, so i dunno

DunkCentral retweeting worthless Heat blogbois is the lowest form of content.

I mean Miami has went to the ECF 3 out of the last 4 years including 2 NBA finals.

They manage to find random players that play key roles like nobody else.

    They will be fine regardless.

Pluss, Giannis, Embiid, Luka will be on the trade block soon anyways. Those 3 are far bigger fishes

I wonder if there’ll be a point where Jimmy barges in to the FO and is like “wtf are you guys doing”

Imagine thinking that offering more than Tyler Herro and 2 picks for Damian fucking Lillard is desperate.

  7. I’m 100% confident they don’t actually believe this. Jimmy is another year older and has a ton of mileage. They lost some key players that got hot during their playoff run. Herro is going to be disgruntled after being dangled. They nearly got knocked out in the play-in.

  8. This is why Dame’s camp is feeding Spears stories about him being ok with reporting to toronto and playing for the Raps.

This is the east equivalent of the timber wolves (8 seed last season) saying this. That’s wacky.

No chance. Without Spoelstra they’re a lottery team with that roster. They still might be anyway.

Sounds like the Heat are playing chicken against themselves.

Yea heat just made it so u can’t count them out. But Jimmy is a year older and the roster didn’t improve. They shouldn’t get desperate but also shouldn’t act like everything is all good and sweet.

They got so lucky last year with Giannis hurt, then Jaylen Brown was hurt, game 7 Tatum hurts himself. There is no way

Imagine being Dame and burning down your legacy in an offseason for a team that isn’t even willing to field a legitimate offer for your talents.

Then keep his name out of your mouth and say y’all are good and don’t want him and move on and break his little heart. We’re not telling him Santa’s not real.
