Its a…rumor of sorts…that AC is prone to injury and misses a lot of games on account. He does get minor things occasionally…a sore hamstring or strain or sprain now and again. But looking at his NBA career over four seasons (yes AC has been in the NBA just four years though it seems forever. Not counting the two seasons spent in the G League on a Two Way contract with the Lakers) his availability is fairly high imo. 67 games, 41 on account of Grayson Allen causing him to break his wrist, 58 in the Covid shortened season on a 72 game schedule, and 64 games his first season. Plus Frank Vogel wouldn't play him some games, period. Injured or not. It's just the Vogel way😁
But yeah I don't see much of an availability or injury issue there. 65 games would not be out of the ordinary for him. Would be nice if he could go 70-75 but the way he plays dictates he most likely won't. That said the Bulls are stacked with guards and if Ayo can have ONE important role this season it can be stay ready. If AC can't go for a stretch of games YOU are the next man up. Having a solid back up for AC can be just as important as having AC healthy. If Ayo can be that…perfect👌
