Everything But The Chip: The 2001 76ers

This retrospective takes an in-depth look at one of the most eventful and rewarding seasons in 76ers history. The talented team made it all the way to the NBA Finals, led by 2001 MVP Allen Iverson and 2001 NBA Coach of the Year Larry Brown.

  1. Iverson was not the best player in the league in 2000-2001. Are you kidding me???? That would be Shaq. No GM in their right mind would have chosen Iverson over Shaq in 2000/2001. In fact, most GMs would have chosen Kobe over Iverson in 2000/2001 as Kobe had taken that needed step to superstardom that very year.

  2. Damn Eric Snow has become a big fella look like someone grandaddy. And I wonder if the Sixers werent so beat up what could they have done. Made it a little more challenging. I doubt they could have won but atleast took it to 7

  3. This here confirms that AI was an animal. No more comparison Kyrie with the Answer. He changed the organization and carried the team. Kyrie didn't smell a playoff game until Bron got there.

That's my Favorite player ever… chip or no chipπŸ’―

  9. AI & VC was my fave players at thay time they were so entertaining to watch. I even wanted them to play together in a team

  10. The reason why I always like Iverson is because when my mother read the Bible and taught me about David and Goliath I was in always reminded me of David
