[Woj] Free agent F Rudy Gay has agreed on a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors, Sam Permut of @RocNationSports tells ESPN. Gay will compete for team’s open roster spot in camp. This will be his 18th NBA season.

I knew it! This is the prototypical stretch 4 type of old veteran that GS loves to pick up.
This seems ridiculous. I can’t see Gay making the roster unless something has changed since his last play in the NBA. His MPG and his shooting have declined a lot from his heyday. If he could give us 10 MPG of Prime Rudy, I’d say sure, but I’m not sure he can give us even 1 MPG of that.
