Im ok with Mitch getting an occasional play where he is free to run iso from top of the key. And if he can be successful at that, maybe call more plays for him. But honestly Mitch dont need to be a scorer for us to contend and he should not be free to hoist jumpers from outside when we need him crashing the glass. As far as Thibs, he the man for the job for the immediate future. Cant deny the great job he has done love or hate him
Thibs is currently the best coach the knicks have had compared to previous coaches. The coach that's better then thivs is currently çoaching another team.

Numbers don't lie and regardless of how I don't like his stubbornness, Tibbs has earned to stay the NY Knicks coach. Just give him a legit tier 1 NBA Star!!!
I think Thibs is a fine coach for this team. If the Knicks want to take the next step, they need a stronger offensive identity beyond "iso ball". LET'S GO KNICKS!

Let Thibs run his contract… He has come in to MSG and do what he was suppose to although his scheme is predictably easy to stop come playoffs. Thibs has made the Knicks more than respectable. But unless he impliment plays this team only gonna go but so far with him.
Id like to see what Vangundy could do with the team. He totally understands today's game, schemes and he also expect defensive intensity from his teams. JVG can definitely lead the Knicks to the finals with an adequate roster

That could would have to be somebody that can maximize the guys we have & have plays set for them to succeed. What coach is that? Idk we’ll have to wait & see. For now thibs is the guy 🤷🏾♂️

I got an unpopular opinion about Thibs. I think Thibs is just fine. There's no coach that would have taken this team further than the 2nd round of the playoffs. Just keep in mind all the Knicks predictions before the year started…none of them had the Knicks in the playoffs. To overachieve and at the same time complain about the coach is insane. We were going as far as our inconsistent duo of RJ Barrett and Julius Randle were taking us…..and RJ ran out of steam game 6 against Miami and Julius unfortunately had a bad ankle. A legit star helps this team way more than a new coach does.
Bring back Van Gundy
CP – If there is anyone near him under the rim, Mitch can not do anything. He catches the ball and looks uncomfortable. If no one is on him or he gets a lob, then ok, but nothing else. Look at some of the games when he got a pass. Mitch, we love you, but hit those free throws and show everyone you can shoot a free throw. Then, get confidence to do more. Block the ball and rebound while the rest of your games come.

With DDV, IQ, JB, n Grimes, an offensive coordinator would make sense. These guys shoot, can spread the floor and some offensive schemes could help.
Yo…Hubie Brown was/is a teacher on the mic. Hubie in his TV prime was a gift for every basketball fan. He might have lost a little bit on his fastball but Coach is a living legend. Happy Birthday, Hubie!

I was not too encouraged by the Mitch free throw shooting drill video. As much as I love Mitch, I was not to encourage by it. I still felt cringed. Although I would still like to see Mitch's game expand a little bit.
"He needs to catch the ball" with his hands, not with single finger mits on.
Throw mitch 2 or 3 alley oops a game and he should be fine with that … ball sticks too much at times.. having mitch getting his cardio up lol
