Of all the news I’ve heard, the Cs just seem to be the most aggressive in this whole thing. I could be wrong and Jrue ends up elsewhere but this just feels right for us.

I wonder if the Celtics being involved is just to drive up the price for either Philly or Miami.
If we are serious about it, and Brogdon and Rob go out, the way I’d view it is we swapped out Smart and Rob for Jrue and Porzingis. Yeah Brogdon is involved in the deal and it’ll be suck to lose the reigning 6th man of the year but overall think the offseason is a major win if we can somehow pull in Jrue.
Who could we find off the streets or in a smaller trade to come in and fill in some of those Rob minutes. We’ll have shallow depth again in the front court with Al’s age and Porzingis injury history, wouldn’t feel comfortable with just those two.
If this deal happened like two weeks ago then we could have moved quickly on Javele McGree before he signed in Sac?
Maybe Nerlens? Also Cam Payne to fill in some of those Brogdon minutes?
Ok yeah, do that deal: send Malcolm and Rob to Portland for Jrue. Sign Payne and Noel.

The money has to match up. And I don’t think we wanna throw in big AL or Rob. I think this is all bullshit. He will go somewhere… it just won’t be Boston. It’ll prob be Miami or clippers.
