  1. I’m fine with “have the opportunity” but I genuinely hope they just keep Bilal with the Wizards this first season. I know Johnny went down there but that’s because he got thrown into the fire early and because we had expectations. There’s no expectations this year so he can fail against actual NBA players and watch and learn from actual NBA players.

yeah he’s getting canned by the all star break. guys like shamet/ gallo should not be playing 30+ minutes a night. Very obvious Wes is coaching for his job and that directly contradicts what this teams goal should be for the season. It’s joeover for him

  3. NBA games – compete against pros, fight for your life and attempt to tread water as a 19 year old who still isn’t used to how tall he is

Go-Go games: Act more as a lead ball handler (if that’s what the team wants), work on implementing concepts with more room for failure, take more shots, get more playing time in general

I feel like that’s a pretty reasonable split. There’s room for both and it’s obvious that the organization views the Go-Go as a legit development path. He’ll also have the opportunity to win games in the G-League, which probably won’t happen much in the NBA regular season for a while.
