  1. The Heat were right Durant can't win without the stacked Warriors and Mitchell is oan overrated bum that lost in 5 in the first round to the Knicks.

  2. Seems like the Heat could have made an effort to work a 3 team deal with portland to get portland what they wanted, a young impact player (not named Tyler Herro). Hubris?

  3. it sounds like Cronin is a clown, and hurt his organization by taking a lesser deal, leaving 1st round picks on the table jsut to stick it to the Heat…Thats why they bums who play for ping pongs and will never be a championship organization..
That being said Riley deserves some blame here….He's notoriously cheap in the wrong moments…Even with Dwade, the negotiations broke down and he left because of Riley's lowballing…Yet when he comes to paying lesser overrated role players he drops the bag….
The lowballing and public pressure they put on the Blazers made it so that, doing a deal with the Heat was loss publicly…I dont know if it was him or Dame's agent, but it def poisoned the well.. If it wasn't a steal, he wasn't going to do business with the Heat…

  4. Simple new Rule… if your a player and you want to play for a specific team… fk your original team your in and DONT SIGN AN EXTENSION AT ALL… ACT COLD EXACTLY LIKE THE TEAM YOU WANT TO GO TOO.

  5. Good to see you guys remain delusional and out of touch, despite all that has happened, the important thing is that you've learned nothing from all this…

  6. The blazers knew exactly what the heat had to offer and the heat didn’t offer it. That is 100% on the heat. They were arrogant and entitled and refused to put all of their chips on the table. That is on them. The buck gave up pretty much everything they could and worked with the blazers to get a package they liked. Simple as that.

  7. We still don't know what Cronin gets for Jrue–as Wes points out. There are reports that more teams are lining up for that auction than were lining up for the damaged Dame market. But Wes is right. There was no way Portland was going to win this trade. Putting aside that Jrue is still on the table, Cronin lost with class. He could have just traded Dame to a bad team in revenge for the way that Dame and his agent handled the request. But he didn't. He did right by Dame while making the Heat suffer for not putting their best foot forward and showing some respect by putting some effort into putting a deal together that meets Portland's needs. I don't think that the Heat FO will learn anything from this. But at least they got another lesson in losing.

  8. Heat should trade Herro for Kyrie and Duncan or Kyle and a pick for Buddy Heild.

  9. Absolutely zero blame on the Miami Heat. There was no trade to make. It was either gut the team for Cronin or miss out. I think they made the right call. The Jimmy Dame window would be so small, you wouldn't have time to add pieces around them.

Dame and Goodwin definitely are some to blame. Asking for Miami only wasn't to go to Miami only, it was to stick it to Cronin and tank his value. Cronin ultimately didn't get good value for Dame. They got Ayton, but couldve probably got him separate from Dame. So it really comes down to what you get for Jrue, but if you couldn't get much for Dame, you really think it's gonna be much different for Jrue. Cronin will eventually be held accountable for these mistakes.

  10. As if Joe Cronin is doing anything but what he and his staff think are best for the Blazers. Miami acting as if Portland owed them Dame….it's silly! Cronin went out and got the best deal he and his staff could get for Dame. That deal is way better than Miami's purported deal. I thnk Miami ran into a top notch executive as it turns out and may have underestimated him. But Cronin is not thinking about Miami, he's thinking about the Blazers. Btw, Jrue would make Miami a contender again, just sayin'.

  11. Why are we still talking about dame when we should be going after holiday.Water under the bridge, move on and move forward. I thought heat culture was a real thing.
