Celtics don’t have easy salary matching. Sixers don’t have picks.
Really hope we don’t trade for him. It would be a waste of assets. We need to get younger not older.
The best sitch we can hope for here is that Morey finds a team looking to compete with assets attractive to Portland who think Harden could help (e.g. Minnesota, Clippers, Chicago, ect.) send Harden to them and send said assets to Portland.
The hard part is finding a team that would find a 1 year rental of Harden valuable. Clippers makes the most sense here but that is only assuming they would prefer Harden over Jrue because they could just do the trade and cut us out.
