I think the most interesting thing in this article is that there was no physical therapist on staff prior to this year. I understand they’ve had a training staff, but it seems like having a PT is a no-brainer considering the profession.

  1. Most training staffs are basically physical therapists. When guys get injured the training staffs job is to take them through recovery is what they do. As Griffin talks about the model it show’s physical therapists are not really apart of NBA training staff models.

    From what I herd on locked on Pelicans the issue with Aaron Nelson was people didn’t get along with him rather than him no longer having sound medical strategies

    Right? That’s what I thought when this news broke. They should have like 5 PhD holding physical therapists/sports scientists on staff. Otherwise, what the fuck are we doing?
