[Neubeck] Spoke to a league source who told @PHLY_Sports there’s not much traction on a potential PHL/POR/LAC three-way trade involving Harden and Holiday. Fluid situation obviously, but if that holds, likelihood of a Holiday deal for the Sixers is going to be fairly low

It’s pretty unlikely. I don’t know why the Clippers would get involved in the three way when they could just take Jrue for the same or similar package.

I think Harden is stuck here until something else shakes loose somewhere else in the league. Just hoping Jrue doesn’t end up in Boston or Miami.

  2. Giving up 2 first round picks for Jrue Holiday is ridiculous anyway

Hope Harden just buys in. On paper we are a better team than last year.

i figured this would come out pretty quickly after the initial hype. there just really isn’t much that makes sense for the sixers this offseason. kind of boned tbh

guys, tell me everything is gonna be okay.

Honestly, if we don’t get him, I hope Jrue goes to the Clippers. Both to keep him away from Boston and to further undermine Harden. If both the Clippers and the Rockets decide they’re better off with guards that Harden definitely thinks he’s better than, he’s got to realize the market just isn’t there right?

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Sucks but if the Clippers just take for Jrue it will at least be satisfying to see Harden humbled that the only team that had any interest in him instead made a deal for Jrue.

Honestly if this trade doesn’t happen I’m not watching this year. I have zero interest watching Harden. Fuck that guy

I hope Morey is calling the Knicks. They are always interested in big names. Harden can play off of Brunson. Portland might be interested in Barrett as a young wing complement to their guards.

    Sixers get: Jrue.
    Knicks get: Harden.
Blazers get: Barrett, Hartenstein, and one 1st round pick from each of PHI and NYK.

Ah it’s almost like holding onto Harden this long instead of just getting assets for him when you could from LAC was incredibly dumb and now they’re stuck with him until they give him up for pennies on the dollar in January. Glad this subreddit has given the same uncritical eye towards Morey as they did Hinkie, just success after success

Getting holiday for harden wouldn’t make us better anyway, wouldn’t make us worse. Harden is much better on offense while holiday is equally as good on defense, both suck on the other end equally. We just have to hope that harden realizes he doesn’t have any leverage in this situation and plays his best
