    Who care's if Nurkic finishes at the rim, we don't want our center taking shots which is why we traded Ayton to begin with? Ayton and Nurkic literally have the same defensive rating. Ayton's problem has always been effort, not physicality. Wtf are you actually talking about???

    Jusuf averaged 9.1 rebounds and 13.1 of last season. Ayton 18 & 10. And you’re talking about Jusuf is a better rebounder? And let me ask this genius, does Jusuf have the capacity to guard all the way out to the perimeter the way Ayton does? Because it’s not very hard to grab rebounds if you’re mostly camped inside on defense.

    What you guys are missing is how well Ayton was playing PRIOR to the Kevin Durant trade.

    Once Durant came on, it became iso basketball between booker and Durant and frankly when Booker was red hot for a round and a half, you could go with it.

    But then watching Durant be absolutely terrible, while Ayton was passed up time after time, was atrocious.

    Everyone hating on Ayton has a right to be. But let’s not pretend he wouldn’t be a different player if he was a more goto option.

    Prior to Durant he went on a stretch averaging 30 ppg & 12 rebounds

    i think people are being irrational and just looking at DA and Nurkic. But the Suns didn't make this trade because Nurkic is the answer. Nurkic is not the answer. This trade was made because DA was a big problem and the Suns have enough pieces to compete. they don't need DA to compete. they have Book, Beal, Durant, etc. if Nurkic doesn't play, its ok, there are other players that will step up.

    I rather a player who will give full effort every night than a player who can’t accept his role. Can we stop feeling like Ayton was such a power balance shifting talent he was soft inconsistent and a cry baby. He can now be the man in Portland I’m happy for him tho I’m ready to see his game hopefully blossom

    you DONT know for sure that path to NBA finals will go through Nuggets. Another team can beat them in playoffs. Injuries can happen. You wanna predict everything but in essence you really cant tell whats going to happen in the season because injuries change the game dynamic.
