Yeah he’s mentally checked out on us – we need to move him ASAP. I don’t really blame him tbh. He was late to his media appearance and my total guess here is he didn’t want to do this and was forced to later

I wish I could tell Tim that it’s really nothing against him, I love him as a player and as a person it’s just such an unfortunate scenario where our 2 best players are kyrie and luka, neither of which are good defensively so we need a player between them who is strong defensively
Tim is a hell of a shooter but he’s about average defensively and that doesn’t work with those 2, which is also the reason why he makes so much sense to be traded, there’s no point in paying him nearly 20 mill a year to come off the bench when we have like 4 other wing players on the bench who can play that role for a quarter of what he costs
