This is the highlights video of the game (in German). You can see the floor light up a couple of times for made three’s and dunks.
It was also used this summer in the FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup: https://youtu.be/e34emdsD4Ig?si=B300tbtW6Owzeufl
Pretty cool in my opinion, although I fear that this is ultimately just going to be used for even more ads. From what I’ve read players say it takes some getting used to, but has both good bounce and grip. Not surprisingly some NBA franchises have already signaled their interest in this.
Ibaka scored 6 btw.

Link doesn’t work in America
I am ngl I had zero clue he was now over seas.
I kinda wished the raps would take a flyer.
Bayern? Isn’t that a volleyball team or something? Sorry, I only watch real sports like football and basketball.
I didn’t even know bro played football, good for him
thats pretty cool 😎
Nail on the head. Ad revenue
6 points is good for a 50 year old
This will finally allow for 5 point “hotspots” to pop up on the floor at random times.
The floor is super cool, I am sure it’s gonna make it to the NBA in the future
If this floor was used in the NBA:
– Fan conspiracy about how their team lost the finals because the opponents moved their 3pt line further and their own closer
– Booker complaining to the refs about how the opposing team flashes the floor lights to distract him
Ibaka, still playing at 40 years old… impressive
I wonder what it feels like to dive across the floor for a loose ball on the glass vs wood.
What are they gonna call throwback jerseys now? Softglass Classics?
Please don’t ever let this make its way to the NBA for the love of god
This is the first time I’ve ever got a “Link is not available in your country” message
If I was an athlete it would bother me to play on a lit up surface that moved, changing colours and patterns.
That’ll interfere with a lot of things.
