Can Scottie Barnes ever lead the Toronto Raptors to an NBA Championship?

How good will the Toronto Raptors be this year? Former Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes is now headed into his make or break it 3rd season in the NBA! With the recent departure of Fred Vanvleet mere remnants remain from Toronto’s 2019 championship run. After the leaders that brought this team to a championship have almost all left it looks like Toronto more than ever is headed toward the future! How good can Scottie Barnes become for this team? Will Pascal Siakam be traded? Is OG Anunoby here to stay? How well will first year head coach Darko Rajaković do? What should we expect from this team this year? What should we expect from the future of the Raptors?

  1. This channel is complete horse shit. My apologies to anyone who thinks it has any basketball knowledge, it doesn’t. Only a fool would fall for its spin.

  2. He was a PG pre-NBA. Came off the bench and still was selected 4th overall in the draft; “as a PG”. Once in the NBA not only played “out of position” but played all positions “1 to 5”, throughout the year as the “fifth option”. Still achieving better stats than most 3rd options on other teams. ROTY. You doubt him? Laughable!😂😂😂😂. Hopefully where Fred gone people can get their head out of his ass and see the light!

  3. Obviously, you do not watch the Raptors very often because last year Freddy van fleet hijacked the offensive so he could pad his stats.

  4. Scottie gonna shut up alot of you guys. Kevin Durant is my absolute favorite player in the NBA and even I said no to trading Scottie Barnes for him. His future is so bright 🌻year 3-5 we will know ..not just year 3

  5. What has KD done after he won those two championships why tf would we trade Scottie who's in his 20's for a guy who's almost 40 💀

  6. Point guard must get assists and buckets with low turnovers. Barnes prob play better w no VanVleet and under new coach. We need Siakam also. Give coach the most possible talent more years to succeed. Might trade Achiua

  7. you are going to get a lot of ppl who will be mad at you but you didn't say anything that isn't true. There is a lot of work individuallly he needs to do to get there. Will he get there? I dont know. Lamar Odom is seen as disrespectful until people realize he was literally top 3 on a chip team…. sensitivity needs to stop.

Where I diverge is the idea of keeping og when he has literally said he wants to be here. OG from a salary stand point can get you one solid prospect without them giving up too much and he has peaked. Trading OG could allow you to do a half pivot without a full rebuild. If you trade Pascal you may as well trade OG anyways to make sure you can truly tank.

Josh Green or Hunter are not good enough as prospects back to really allow you to feel comfortable of being able to punch back up through a rebuild. You NEED to get a blue chipper prospect and those guys are not blue chippers. By blue chippers I mean a guy of the mathurin level. John Collins was aa bad idea the dude went for a 2nd rounder. Regarding OG we have a ton of defensive players here already so do we really need his skill set by comparison to the one guy who can actually create for himself and others? Hunter, and Josh Green wont ever be engines of an NBA offense. Pascal may not be a number 1 but we have never put a proper team around to see. Poeltl…Thad…. Khem Birch are some of the best you could get.

We should have traded for OG twice now.

  8. I just saw the title off this video while scroling, and I just clicked to come to the comment section to say: NO!

  9. He can be a 3 on a championship team. If he learns how to shoot maybe a 2 tops. He needs to be playing pf to show his full potential.

  10. Scottie Barnes is the next Michael carter Williams just like him he won rookie of the year and has been a big time bust the same could happen to Barnes
