This trade just shows the double standards NBA fans posess. Jrue says he wants to retire a Buck and this that and the third, all praises for the Bucks FO for getting GIannis a running mate. Celtics trade IT and it's all how the Celtics did him dirty. Similar situations, team trades aging fan favorite guard for an upgrade at the position.
And I know that people are gonna be like "well the Celtics doctors yada yada yada," like IT couldn't make his own decisions.

Well I was watching Nurk for last years and he is not good. Neither on offense nor on defence.
As a Blazers fan I actually like the trade and believe people underestimate Ayton. When he is motivated he can easily be a top 5 center in the league.
On the other hand I see Suns making a mistake. Yes, they need depth, but was it the only way? You ain't winning with Nurk as your starting center. And Allen is a below mid player

This is just crazy. I have wanted this to happen when they first traded for Holiday. It worked out since he help get us a finals win but yeah , it's a must make move. The defense does not worry me since Giannis can legit guard all 5. The Bucks will need to get whatever bench players they can get now though.
people don't realize because they aint bucks fans, but giannis and middleton are like brothers. you get rid of him, and giannis is going away for sure. the team is dumb but not stupid, and this trade is a sign of them simply not being stupid haha.
An important part is that we didnt see Dame playing for a whole lot for a long time now (he never really had a chance for a title run), so now we can expect more defensice engagement from him… I think the defense of bucks will be still top 10 at least, but for the offense … maaaan sky is the limit for real , we could have the next shaq and kobe type duo
Blazers wanted vets to help with their potential starting core of the future. For them, I think it was a good move. They have too much young talent to develop to gather more.
