Thats a bad trade for Boston imo. They gave up needed depth. Their starters are good but that bench is worse then the suns bench last season. Celtics need to pray kcp doesn’t get hurt
We got spacing now. I’m not worried
Lol well Dame asking out turned out about as poorly for the Cavs as possible. Blazers have gotten a pretty solid return, about equal to what we gave the Jazz for Donovan
May as well tank this season
This is not ideal for our Mitchell window
Mil and Bos will be fighting for the 1 and 2 seeds. We will be chasing the 3-4 seeds with NY, Phi, and Mia. This makes a championship harder but the path is the same. We need to see Mobley’s game progress if we wanna be true contenders. I think he can do it.
They gave up a lot of depth this off season.
This is still a Celtics team that will have to grind out wins against good teams in the playoffs, but Jrue is the perfect PG to help them do that.
This obviously makes the Celtics harder for the Cavs to beat, but our challenges aren’t really even external.
Either JB institutes a modern offense that can work in the playoffs or he doesn’t.
If he can, we have enough skill and talent to go blow for blow with anyone. If he can’t, we are going to get rocked by teams like the Celtics with premier defenders.
East went from wide open to two clear frontrunners, not good!
Yikes
Boston will only go as far as Brown and Tatum will take them. The rest is a wash imo
KP and Horford as your post defense…good luck with that over a whole season. We’ll eat them alive
And this, my friends, is why you never, ever want to blow all your assets on a single player. Always have something left in the tank should the unexpected player(s) hit the market.
top of the east is stacked
Ggs for our mitch window 🫡🫡🫡
Cavs misplayed their hand last offseason. Instead of going all in on Mitchell, they should’ve been patient kept their assets and developed. Mobley and Garland were still young. Now they don’t have a championship window.
