Portland single-handedly ruined the league in 3 days

Jesus, can we just blow it up now, what’s the point of even trying to compete.

Boston is really weak in the paint now especially if Porzingis ever goes down (which he will at some point). Williams always gave us trouble.

The front office seemingly decided they wanted to remain competitive when we traded for poeltl last season. Only problem is the team is still the exact same minus fred while everyone else gets better. I’m not saying Jrue is a guy we should trade for (especially at this price) but if we want to compete this roster simply isn’t

Jeez that is a quite the haul for Portland.

Imagine if they traded Dame for Herro and 2 frp lmao. Good for them!

  6. Yea bucks 100% had a way better package than anything Miami or Toronto offered. They got a great return.

I thought Boston got a steal, till I realized they threw in Rob Will.

Pretty clear now that the bucks offer was the best. I guess everyone was just underrating Jrue as a asset

That’s gunna end up being bad for Boston. Horford and kp as ur bigs? Lol good luck

I think jrue is overrated, a huge reason why bucks lost was heat. Imo this doesn’t make them better

Why can’t Masai do what Cronin is doing for Siakam or OG? There’s no way Jrue is that much more valuable than either (Siakam is outright better)

This doesn’t surprise me at all…in fact I expected this

Boston and the Bucks are going to be monsters this season…we might as well bend over and let them sodomize us right now and get it over with because we have no shot at competing with either team as it stands lol

Portland also received Robbie Williams, with 2 first round picks.

Robbie Williams and Ayton, seems like an odd pairing

Other playoff teams in the east might increase their offers for og and siakam now to compete

  14. keeeeener

Holy shit that’s an insane package. Is that even that much of a improvement. Definitely better but they are really thin now.

  15. tightcorners

I dont understand how they can have that kind of roster while we have such a poopy roster and almost over the cap lol.

Very bad management of $ on our part.

Great haul for Portland. But I wanna see how Boston functions on paper they look great but how will mazula coach this squad and how will they fit together and the big question is how well can Jaylen dribble left this year lol

Masai shocked Jrue didnt cost only GTJ + a frp

  18. larrylegend1990

Their interior D got worse and also Robert Williams was very good as a switch man.

But this trade makes sense if they are trying to compete against the Bucks. Bucks don’t really have a post playing C and they usually play ok against Giannis

I don’t like this trade for Boston. I know they had to get rid of Brogdon, but the rest? Not a fan

Bobby holding Masai back from offering two firsts for Brogdon

Long term unprotected FRP are risky to trade away. Blazers might be smiling real big a few years Down the road. Especially the Bucks pick.

  22. Affectionate-Act-245

I was hoping we could have landed JRue but this is definitely an over pay. Brogdon is almost on the same level as Jrue – not sure what his injury status is but a healthy Brogdon is definitely a top 15-20 point guard in the league. Then throwing in Williams, who’s a playable big man and 2 first round picks. I’m guessing either Brogdon’s injury is pretty serious and/or Boston is just shooting for the fences, which makes a lot of sense with their current roster.

I think Jrue will fit well on that roster though, they need a good defensive PG and a playmaker, they don’t need his offense – they’ve got plenty of that already.

The biggest of middle fingers from Portland to Miami lmfao. Trades Dame to Milwaukee and Jrue to Boston – Miami’s 2 biggest competitors in the East lmfao

Wonder what Miami and Philly do now. They’re both very clearly a level or 2 below Boston and Milwaukee

Everyone is getting better while we do nothing.
