what couldve been if this mans knees held up šŸ˜¢

  2. MacDaddyJones

It’s a shame you lost your burst last year. Still love you big man, enjoy the PNW.

  3. I love him so much man it really sucks he’s gone. But health was always an issue. When we win Smart, Rob, and Grant deserve rings.

  4. Will unfortunately be a massive what if for his entire career likely.

Multi time DPOY if he had bionic knees

  5. Loved every game i watched him play. Eventough that was just about 40 games a season.

  6. BriefCollar4

Having Smart and Williams gone in the same season feels weird.

  7. Jordanwolf98

Love this guy. Hope he kills it in Portland

  8. luvvdmycat

Wishing Rob good health and success.

    Thanks for some awesome memories!

Rob my fav Celtic of the last few years. Gave us when healthy a dimension of verticality at both ends last seen in healthy KG and otherwise not in my lifetime. A sneaky brilliant passer and cutter. Uggh this one hurts.

I was ready to move on from Smart- a reset was needed. But not my Timelord. Fuckkkkkkk

No shot we just traded the must injury prone big in the NBA to the fucking trailblazers. I wish this man’s knees and feet good luck cause he’s gonna need em with those portland doctors

Our biggest what if of the last three years

I really thought weā€™d find a way to a ring with Smart/the Jays/Al/Timelord – it hurts to watch us pivot from a homegrown group.

Robā€™s going to kill it in Portland, though. They just got an immediate fan favorite.

We’ll always have the one time he posterized AD in a play no else will remember

Was easily my favorite player on the team. Sad to see him go, but we’re a team trying to win a title, can’t rely on a walking IR for that.

  14. aja_ramirez

Good luck rob; thanks for the memories

    Gonna miss the TimelordšŸ˜

Man I really wish we won that title 2 years ago, seeing all these core guys go is tough. But that’s the game.

One of the most *aesthetically (what a horrible typo) pleasing big men to watch play I’ve ever seen. His combination of passing and shotblocking is rare. The way he performed in the playoffs, even while dealing with injuries, was special. I’m excited to moonlight as a Blazers fan late at night and yell about how he should close games over Ayton

This off-season has had really painful moments. Smart and Rob šŸ˜¢

    Gutted.

Arguably my fave Celt as of yesterday. When healthy, he was an absolute monster for us!

    RIP green RW3

  20. FuzzyBuzzyCuzzy

Gonna miss the flying perimeter blocks so much, no one else in the league can do that.

  21. big-bananas

i get everyone loves this man, but he played half of the games in 5 years

  22. Informal_Implement42

Such a huge piece of that Ime defense. Heā€™s a force when healthy! I hope that Scoot and him connect on many Lobs.

  23. Groundhog_fog

How he never adopted the nickname “Bob Bill” is beyond me. We love you and will miss you very much

  24. Vaguely_vacant

He was my favorite when he was on the court and healthy. Really going to miss him. Seriously canā€™t believe him and Smart are gone. It feels weird. But hey, thatā€™s the NBA for ya

  25. LCBloodraven

Thank you for all the crazy blocks! Gonna miss those nasty alley oop and put back dunks

  26. Edub272

I hope the Portland commentators call him Timelord

  27. The brightest lights burn the fastest. Rob will be missed

  28. CertifiedCapArtist

Lost Smart , Rob and Grant in one off season. I’ll miss you guys man. Only player I have left is JT.

  29. PrometheusAborted

I live in AZ. Iā€™m wearing my Timelord jersey today. Went to the grocery store to get a couple things and a younger kid goes, ā€œoh word, nice jersey, didnā€™t he get traded?ā€

All I could do was sadly nod.
