Jrue does nothing better than brown/tatum they cant do themself on offense. What if Mazula throws a curve ball at you and rolls out a starting line-up of Horford, Porzingis, Tatum, Brown and Jrue with Kristaps in the Time Lord help defender role? White can come off the bench and play big minutes too.
I think the Celtics fan base is overvaluing rob, ofc he had massive potential and he gave a lot to the team… when he played and sadly that wasn’t often enough. Even when he did he was still hobbled enough to not be the player they knew he could be. This seemed like a no brainer move imo but maybe I’m UNDER valuing rob… idk
He's Smart with less clout. That's it. Boston is gonna be scary this season. It kinda sucks that they had to let go of Timelord, though. We'll see how that plays out.
Porzingis is not that good at rebounding, and Horford isn't either, plus he is kind of old. Holiday was cooked by Jimmy last playoffs, while Smart did fairly well vs Jimmy. Idk. They got smaller, thinner in rotation, and weaker in defense and rebounding by a tiny bit. If anyone from the starting 5 goes down, they're kinda screwed. Who is their bench, Horford, Hauser and Pritchard? Thats not gonna cut it in the playoffs.
I do think the Celtics traded their like 10 man roster for a 5 man roster. It's a great looking starting lineup, but in 2 months when people are begging for depth and saying the name of the 7th man like "the Celtics traded their entire roster and counting on PeYtOn PrIcHaRd" or whoever. So it's nice, but they traded Marcus Smart for older Marcus Smart and Brogdon and Williams for an injury prone 7'3" SG.
