  1. The Blazers made some great moves. Damian Lillard is 34 years old, and near the end of his career, yet the Blazers got a large haul, plus some draft picks for Lillard. Good job by the Blazers.

  2. Hot take: We currently have all the seeds to win a ring, now we just need time so sunlight can blossom those seeds into dogs

  3. Dame said he wanted to come back to the Blazers, UNTIL they could trade him! I wouldn't have taken him back either. We don't want to be Dames back up plan. And why is it Cronins fault he didn't talk to Dame? Dame didn't talk to Cronin either. It's a push

  4. Dame should have pulled Cronin aside and made his trade request privately, instead of posting on Twitter… Just my two cents ✌🏼

  5. I just rhoughr of a good player comparison for time lord, a ben wallace light, has size length athleticsm. His role his defense isn't looking to score per say but you dont want to just let him camp the dunkers spot

  6. Judging from the way the deal went down, I bet the Bucks-Blazers deal was agreed upon months ago, but was delayed in its execution just to "run out the clock" on Miami and others in the East, as well as not make it obvious that Cronin was not going to cave to Dame and Goodwin's demand to go to Miami. Cronin and the Bucks knew they would be the favorites to win by getting Dame. The Celtics then had to pick up Jrue Holiday just to stay even with the Bucks. The sense of urgency/desperation came from waiting till the last few days before training camp.

I wonder if the Bucks and Blazers strategized this out months ago to take time and opportunity away from other teams in the East. If so, Cronin deserves credit for knowing how the chips would fall, and was willing to play teams against each other and use the clock wisely. Did Dame a solid by getting him to a legit contender (we'll probably say in hindsight he did Dame a favor by not keeping him after he changed his mind about the trade demand). Achieved parity between the Bucks, Celtics, Denver, and Suns.

This is why the Blazers and Heat never talked after June/July: the deal was already done, and talking to Riley would just complicate matters and clue in media sources to the deal.

  7. Cronin absolutely sunk Miami's hopes and dreams. 😢 We got one over on Pat there season is sunk, and we got a very solid haul.

  8. are you guys ever open to having more people on the show as a guest? y’all are super knowledgeable and would love to talk with you guys about the blazers

  9. We got used to being excited when the Blazers sign Skylar Mays to a two-way contract.

  10. Cronin got good value for us. But, he failed miserably at building a winner around Dame. Failed miserably.
