Ending the week with three first round unprotected picks, two pick swaps, an All-Star caliber center who’s only 25 and a solid backup center and last year’s sixth man of the year is not a bad haul for Dame, Nurk and Little.
There was no upside to keeping Lillard, and the package that the Blazers got for Lillard was excellent considering his age/contract/defensive limitations/unwillingness to go to most locations. It might have been better if they had dealt him a year ago, but they didn’t so you have to deal with things as they are. The idea of throwing good years after bad is always a failing strategy.

Heās retooled this team so fast itās mind bending. Suddenly weāre young, talented and loaded with picks. Itās absolutely nuts. Iām so excited to see how things play out this year. I donāt have high expectations, but watching Shae develop was my favorite thing last year and now there are so many more stories to watch unfold on this team.

Yet another data point in a very long list of data points is just how horrible this team would be if it was run by our loudest fans. People on this sub have been calling for Cronin to get fired since he was interim gm. Some dumbass was putting up Norman Powell highlights on here for like half the season lol. Joe Cronin is and has been doing an excellent job, and JODY ALLEN has been absolutely correct in not getting trigger happy and firing him (and Pete Carroll) and letting the professionals do their jobs. Thanks for doing something Paul never had the guts to do and shit canning Neil though!
