As if all his horrendous roster moves since 2019 weren’t enough, now he wants to scapegoat our best player instead of holding himself accountable?? Yikes, tough look
You are wrong Ben, I am with Masai, Pascal has to prove himself for that big contract. He is not a number 1 option and cannot carry a team. Let's see how he can lead this team.
What did he say that wasn't true. This wasn't about Siakam, it was about the team. He never fired it directly at Siakam. We are making way more of this than it needs to be
Screw Pascal. I believe he gets traded. Trade his behind to Atlanta or Send him to Miami for Draft picks, Lowry, Jaquez any Jovic or to ATLANTA for Aj Griffin and Clint capela and ext. Aj Griffin is better than Bufkin.
We were selfish as a team last year that is a fact. Assists or not the way we played last year only favored a few even when it came in the way of winning.
This not blaming Pascal specifically. Personally I think he was one of the bright spots last year but there is definitely more he could have done to play as a team than just playing for contracts and then the team second.
Masai knows what he’s doing and everyone so hasty to bash him and act like he’s moving wrong are lost in my opinion. The change we needed more than anything was at the coaching staff lvl first to play how we need to the we can see who to keep and remove. Masai knows that which is why no major move was done. Our basketball should be and will be better this year and when it is I will be looking for all of you who dared to question Masai once again.
Trade Pascal. He's not the guy and shouldnt be paid like that. He sabotaged the entire team to try and secure the bag here. They should have packaged Pascal and Freddy together to get the most ROI 2 years ago tbh.

Pascal is a G. Masai needs to hold up his end just as much as pascal. Who has played well and moved the ball really well for any forward.
Seemed to me Masai was talking about Fred and Nurse's style of play.
Masai handled that the worst way possible! Here is what he should have said, “this is a new year and we are excited for our new coach to lean into a style of basketball that is focused on ball movement and team basketball.”
It is insane that his GM is speaking negatively on him at the beginning of this season
Let's not create this false narrative for a team that has little room for error this year. Pascal is human and can be influenced by this manufactured controversy. There are many players within the team, including Scottie, who admitted that last year wasn't fun due to the "selfishness". I am sure that Masai talked to every player the same about wanting the team to play unselfishly.
The team playing selfish was much less of an issue compared to his roster construction.
Masai needs to go! Now!
Its starting to sound like management is blaming players when they have been mismanaging the team for a couple years now and have been unable to build a winning roster. Masai can't be trusted anymore, its pretty clear he's fumbled a lot.
The organization will give Pascal his money
Does he though? Sorry, Selfishness = Nick Nurse + Fred Van Vleet. Not seeing where Pascal was part of that equation. Don’t get the impression that Pascal has ego issues… Fred does. Pascal may not appear to be excited because he is sitting in front of media that loves to hate you no matter what you do and who ask you questions that are none of their business.
