Well here’s the extension for Murphy. Unless they go well into luxury tax, this team will not look the same in 3 years. I imagine JV will be gone, as well as Nance, if both don’t take sizeable reductions in salary. CJ will have to be moved and production will be needed from Hawkins and Daniels.

Of course it won’t look the same in 3 years, teams never do. Just the way it goes

All very worth it. Like nance but we could find that production. CJ will be replaced with Trey.

To be honest I think this year and next are tests to see whether it’s worth paying the luxury tax, the bensons pay a lot of money for the Saints so clearly they don’t mind spending, I think the real question is at the end of the year is this team fully healthy worth it, if we made the second round or western conference finals then I think they won’t mind paying, if z or bi or both get injured for an extended period again, then we won’t and one of if not two of the three 30mil guys will get traded to ensure trey stays here

Yea not a chance in hell Cj and Trey are both on the roster in 2 years

That is a terrible extension for SAS. Now one thing it downs show is the guarantee money. I look at Cam Johnson extension who after the initial number came out which was big had a lot of non-guaranteed money attached and a lot of incentives in it. Trey might have a big number but there might also be A lot of incentives in it
