Fuck Bobby I need you to do better than your best! Give so much that our team wouldn’t have been recognizable afterwards! Have it be stripped of depth and picks! At least we’d have a star on the roster when we won 48 games 😮💨
the thing about missing out on Dame is we either stay mid for another season, or we trade Siakam now and go young. I don’t think waiting until the trade deadline to do anything will see us get any enticing offers for our expiring players.

Based on the reporting it definitely looked like the most picks they have ever thrown in any trade in franchise history into a trade, just weren’t willing to include OG so it didn’t happen, maybe it would have if Bucks didn’t enter with a competitive offer

Assuming our deal is Gary, Dick, filler and as many picks as we can offer (3 picks, 2 swaps). I’m also assuming the Suns fillip Ayton for Nurkic + Filler. In total, the Blazers get Gary, Ayton, Dick, 3 picks and 2 swaps
What actually happened was that the blazers got Brogdon, Timelord, Ayton, 3 picks, 2 swaps. Pretty similar in value IMO, though I think the blazers would prefer the below package because they need bigs and brogdon is probably more valuable than GTJ in this package

Ngl I don’t think flipping OG would’ve netted the same haul as Jrue, lot of desperate playoff teams that needed a top tier PG. Even if we offered OG and those picks, if Portland intended to flip whoever they got I don’t see how OG gets a better haul then what Jrue got them.
