  1. No trades. I can't wait to see this group fight for a playoff spot. We'll see where we stand after this season. Too early to make a big play for someone that needs to get paid. We need the cap flexibility to extend Franz next off season and then Paolo the following.

  2. Those commentators who believe the magic should be involved in every trade scenario just aren't buying into this team the same way the fans and fo have. I don't think we see a trade, the fo is valuing financial flexibility and are patient enough to wait for the right person to become available. We still watching our guys to see what they could be

  3. I genuinely believe JI will be the difference between this team being 7/8 seed or 5/6 seed he's that impactful

  4. Early for a trade. If we do, why not wait for someone like Donovan Mitchell or Booker? That’s more of what we need. An efficient volume scorer.

  5. I agree we have to really let the team grow this year and get good experience to try to make the playoffs, and start making big moves this trade deadline/next summer. I still think Suggs has a lot of potential and hope he’s a part of the team for awhile.

  6. I want us to go all in on playing JI 28-30 minutes. We can't pay a guy 17 million to play 11minutes a night. He is either healthy and we have a defensive player of the year candidate or we trade or cut him for an upgrade. What we can't do is trade or cut him without knowing if his body can hold up and some other team takes a chance and they have the defensive player of the year. If his body doesn't hold up you move Chuma into that role and see if you have a rotation player that you want to keep.
