This year will be a fun year for the spurs. Wish them to have a healthy season.
I feel bad for KJ, spurs fans want him to be traded and when that did not happen they want him relegated to the bench. I hope KJ makes a trade request cuz he does deserve this kind of disrespect.

I don’t think the Spurs defense was nearly as bad as their ranking suggests. They had at least 20 close games last year that they lost because they couldn’t get a bucket on offense for a five or six minute stretch (no go-to-scorer), and responded by trying too hard to compensate on defense.
More experienced teams recognized those situations as their opportunity, and took control of the game.
Other than the one bad stretch of those games, Spurs went toe-to-toe the whole game, on both ends.
Turn half of those five-point losses into wins and now they’re already up to 32 wins this season.
I think the Spurs go all out to see where our young talent is. We have a bunch of draft assets through the trades we’ve made over the last few years, and I think Atlanta could be heading for an implosion or at least a lottery pick. I think we have the best young core along with Orlando, and we could make the playoffs as 6 seed in a tough west. They’re floor is probably a 10 seed play in team. I think the defense will be much better and with us being competitive last year in games without wemby and some of our best players, this year is really going to be fun to watch. I’m thinking 46 wins and 36 losses.
