“Offensively I don’t think he’s a great decision maker and I thought that was something that the Celtics needed. They needed a pure point guard and they still don’t have one of those.” – Thoughts on these Jrue Holiday quotes?

I think that is a pretty fair interpretation of Jrue’s time in the playoffs with the Bucks. *However* I think it remains to be seen how much of those shortcomings were because of Jrue, and how much of it was part of operating in a specific offensive system under Budenholzer.

I think he missed a lot of shots we needed him to make in the playoffs, but they were good decisions. He was wide open (many times on purpose)
I think this is some Pot stirring BS.

I love Jrue. I refuse to speak ill of him. I don’t care what team he’s on.

I feel like they basically swapped out similar type PGs while picking up another scorer in Prozingis and giving up size + depth in Williams III and Brogden. They also lost two 1st rounders. Feels like an all-in season for the Cs.

I wish I could find the full quote of when Amin buried Lebron before he and the cavs came back from down 3-1. He wasn’t just saying that the cavs would lose the series but that Lebron must change his focus from being the best player in the league to a facilitator and that each day he wakes up he’d be worse than the day before.
I put zero stock in what he says, particularly determining how much a player has left.
Edit- For fun, here are some quotes from him and others on the Lebatard Show about the Bucks the year they won the championship… https://youtu.be/u0STNby4JHg
