This is a Disaster for LaMelo Ball

LaMelo Ball just signed a 5 year supermax contract that sets his family up for generations. He’s also becoming an irrelevant young player in the NBA. This video looks at what’s gone wrong for Ball and how his team ranks among other up-and-coming squads in the league.

  1. Yo! In ranking the Grizzlies no. 1 in this video I forgot to mention JJJ. Obviously an airhead error on my part. Thanks to @javienbennett96 for originally calling me out on this.

  2. I don't think so other than Miami and Boston and Milwaukee the East is weak. Charlotte hornet got a chance. I don't know about the coach and owner

  3. Waste his prime? By the time he’s an unrestricted free agent and can leave Charlotte he will be 26-27 lol. That is just entering his prime.

  4. 1. Grizzlies – Playoff team. Morant is legit if he is focused. Bane and JJJ are solid third options.

    2. Thunder – Playoff team. THey are like the young Boston team of Tatum – Brown. SGA is legit. Giddey is second option. Holmgreen might be injury-prone.

    3. Spurs – Not a contender. Wemby is unproven and can't do it all. He might be just a better Porzingis.

    4. Knicks – Playoff team. Brunson is ok but 2nd option at best. Same with Randle.

    5. Magic – Not a contender. Banchero is ok but kind of 2nd option, like Randle. Wagner is a better Bargnani so third option.

    6. Nets – Not a contender. No real all-star.

    7. Pacers – Not a contender. Haliburton is a third option. Sorry but he doesn't have the killer instincts.

    8. Blazers – Not a contender even with Dame around. Scoot is an undersized guard comparable to Jrue Holiday and will probably be a third option at best

    9. Pistons – Should be a playoff team. Cunningham is legit. Bogdanovic and Ivey are good supporting crew.

    10. Jazz – Playoff team but not a contender. Markkanen and Clarkson are third options at best

    11. Rockets – Not a contender. Team still developing. Green and Porter are legit.

    12. Hornets – Not a contender. Ball is third option at best. Dysfunctional roster.

  5. You know you are biased as hell when you rank the Nets as a better young team than Indiana and Charlotte.

  6. Hell yeah they should trade bridges to the Lakers. Get that negativity away from lamelo

  7. It’s not much better to be 11th, but hornets are definitely better than the rockets😅

  8. LaMelo won't stay in Charlotte for too long. When that contract is up, he's gone. He's just bidding his time. He's loyal, so he won't bail until his time with them is up.

  9. The Hornets breakdown is lazy. LaMelo stepped on two ankles last season. Nobody survives that, remember Kyrie stepping GA in the playoffs?

Having Bridges back, second best Hornet back on the floor means the coach has options. Now Hayward can swing back to the second unit. Adding Miller gives the Hornets an oversized 2 when they need buckets and spacing.

    This team will likely surprise.

  10. U crazy for placing Thunder & Magic way ahead of Pistons. Cade is & will be greater than both Palo & SGA. We’re all on the same trajectory so to say Thunder & Magic are top 5 & then have Pistons at 9 is ludicrous. Even more ridiculous is Pacers being better than Pistons! Besides Tyrese, Mathurin & Jerace, who else do they have for their young core moving forward? Pistons have 4 along with the potential boom or bust in Wiseman. And our depth is way more than both Magic & Pacers.

  11. Seriously underrating the Rockets lmao. They might not be top 5 by your measurement but they are much better than Detroit that's for sure.
