That music would drive me nuts trying to play.

I’ve made my peace that I will root for Chris while he’s on the team. I does feel weird though

Lol what is Steph doing at the very end. Made a practice layup: huge fist pump celebration!!!

I know CP is CP, and everything that entails for us Warriors fans in particular, and I’m by no means a CP fan or defender nor was I in favor of trading for him before it happened, but it’s still surprising to me how many people on this sub and throughout the fanbase thought he’d be anything other than like this (as in determined to fit into GS and not demand GS fit *to him*) once it became clear he was staying put here.

He may be obnoxious as hell on the court, and even obnoxious as hell in pressers (namely the buddy pressers he and Book would do, where they were pompous and insufferable lol), but he’s always been a consummate professional with every team he’s gone to and this is def not his first rodeo.

Edit to add: also cracks me up how the assistant (I can’t tell who it is) playing the dummy defender is glued to them like they’re in a wrestling match, arms wrapped around them and all, even in practice lol, ie they practice with illegal defense because that’s just the guaranteed status quo against them for so many years 😭

Every time I watch these clips I realize that I don’t know shit about shit.

The guys are gonna dedicate the title to him

They are going to be awesome together. Steph has never played with such a good passer. They are both amazing at manipulating court geometry and taking what they’re given too.

I just witness Steph miss 3 in a row during practice. Burn this play from the book

I hope no drama between Dray and CP3.

  11. Those actions at the end are interesting. If CP3 is at the top and two defenders go with Steph on those crosses, CP3 is going to get a ton of wide open looks from 3. Either that or it’s going to be a lot of hard closeouts with CP3 attacking 3 on 2 and knowing what to do. Seriously, this offense is going to very dangerous. Yall gonna forget who wore number 3 last year.

    > Paul is quickly trying to integrate into GSW style

So, kicking the crap out of the Clippers and the Suns?

I’m so curious about how CP actually feels about this. If he buys in (which seems like he will) warriors won’t just integrate him into the system, but modify it for his skillset

No way he is literally looking like a PG version of Dray lol

I don’t get why ppl are so concerned about CP3 fitting in. Everyone was questioned if he could play with Harden, he did. If he could play with Book, he did. If he could play with the young guys in OKC, he did.

He might lowkey be the most flexible PG in the association.

This is pretty cool footage. It’s incredible how quickly pros can learn these things and apply it in games (at game speed). I guess that’s a big part of why they made it to the elite levels, while so many other athletic people can’t even break into the NBA.
