  1. (I wrote a whole comment but lost it so im juts going to give my miller take)
I always wanted Miller I just value rebuilding with a plan over just winging it and fixing the problem latter especially when we are talking about the 2 and third pick in a projected really deep and talented draft. Miller to me personally seems fairly ready for the NBA from what I saw throughout SL the guy showed me everything that made me want him as our pick.
I disagree about Miller I think he will have a good rookie year it actually feels like the team is built around him, he was drafter as a jack of all trades master of none type player. I personally think with Melo and Terry as facilitators in the backcourt and floor spacers as well as Mark and PJ being defensives froncourt + Hayward as his vet he will be good. This roster essentially is built for him (Hot take Mill24 will be our franchise player) he wont be responsible of carrying the scoring load like Melo nor be tasked with being defensive anchors like Mark and Pj. He essentially is the miidle man who does everything secondarily and he should be a better scorer/passer than Mark and PJ as well while also being better defender that Melo or Terry. Then there is Hayward who it seems both he and Clifford want to manage his load and keep him health so off the bench is best. Hayward also is underrated as a perfect mentor for Miller, and Bridges (never been fan since draft night) is stuck on the bench for 10 games which gives the starter time to lock up their roles. I dont think being run and dunk man beats Miller or PJ for what their skillset brings for the starting lineup.

  2. As a hornets fan I just don’t understand why we chose Miller over Henderson when we were going to extend PJ Washington. Like you take Scoot, then you have free rein to trade Rozier (which I personally think we should) but selecting Miller makes our Forward room quite crowded, and we also didn’t re-sign Kelly Oubre, so our Guard position is really thin right now. I guess we took Miller for in case we don’t want to keep Miles Bridges after this season, but Bridges is an electric player and I don’t see us letting him go unless the year off made him really rusty. Just don’t understand the direction we are going right now

  3. Melo will still get spot up 3s with Brandon. Miller at the 2 has more potential than yall give him credit for.

He can pass He can shoot. He has room to grow on his body and driving to the basket true. But scoot's body is pretty much maxed out and he has an injured shoulder already.

Defensive versatility is what the Hornets are going for. They have a defensive minded coach. They like tall ball. Melo, Miller, Miles, PJ, Mark starting at the end of the season. 3 and D. Trade the vets.

    Boom.

  4. He is a great off-ball defender. He is able to disrupt passing lanes and produce turnovers/fast-paced offensive
