He isnāt wrong, Harden would have been selfish as he wanted to go back to win more awards again and be the guy again, Fred got paid so he isnāt going to play for his next contract like that and will lead the young guys and help them develop

And if they got Harden he would have said that he was a better fit than Fredā¦

Less drama with Fred. More tireless work ethic and caring to build something beyond himself.
Less strippers and nightlife.

Harden wanted to go back to try to be the leading scorer in the league again. If that is the Harden you get, then yeah, FVV is the better option by a mile.

This is actually very interesting.
Udoka seems to realize FVV best works off the ball, making his own shots and not faciliating others.
He’s probably putting him back at the SG position where he got the FMVP final vote. Makes a lot of sense.
Raptors tried too hard to force him to be Lowry.

You could have posted this without the clickbait headline.
Harden is a ball dominant guard. Fred is not. That’s literally it.

Man, why did you have to remind us the Raptors lost FVVā¦ for nothingā¦ not even a bag of peanuts.

So glad he’s not here anymore.

Because Harden is lazy as fuck and FVV will demand the Houston players work.

He says he’s a better fit because Fred is better off ball. I think he’s right, and I think Fred will even accept playing off ball now that he’s already got his money. He wasn’t willing to accept it in Toronto because it jeopardized his money, which really exposed the dark side of the whole “bet on yourself” mantra.

Thing is, they want him to be a secondary ballhandler and let their young guys develop. Im not gonna put it all on Fred. Nurse is gone for the same reason. Fred got paid though so mission accomplished.

No space out 4 guys, dribble and then go
At least young guys will get to develop

I mean yeah fred wasn’t the best last year but generally he can play off ball and is a good team defender.
Jalen green despite his flaws has show some upside as a primary creator, sengun needs the ball more on offense, they need players who compliments there skill sets and hide there short comings. I like James I do think he’s a great player but he’s the worst possible thing this team he doesnt fit really with sengun or green right now.
They couldn’t defend anything last year and allot of there players played selfishly getting some team first guys who have some grit to them is definitely the better move over another high usage player that doesn’t compliment any of there young standouts current skill sets.
