Just looking forward to see an engaged Ayton Blazer, like he was playing for the Bahamas. Chauncey don’t mess this up.

Am I crazy or does this highlight package almost look like a much more athletic LMA? I think his reliance on a midrange game as a critique is overblown and will be an asset to our young guards. We don’t have Book, CP3 (in the past) and KD also taking up that midrange space that he likes to operate in.

The move at :20 when he dribbles into the mid is so smooth for a guy his size. I know people don’t love the shot (I get it) but if he shoots it efficiently it’s still a weapon for the team

I think a restart is exactly what Ayton needed. He’s going to be playing with some fresh young players who are exciting to build this team up and I imagine their excitement (especially Scoot’s) will motivate him.

i did laugh that after one of the shots, the guy says “FINally ayton gets one to drop!” and then the next play is from a totally different game

I’ll watch anything over a disengaged Nurkic

Now all we need is to schedule all 82 games against [checks notes] Cuba…

His handle is definitely a bit lose from watching this.

Chauncey is year 3 competing with Ime Udoka (with a new, rebuilding team), and Monty Williams (with a new, rebuilding team). If it’s more of the same defensively as compared to Houston and Detroit, I’ll be dubious it’ll ever happen.

  9. If Chauncey doesn’t punish small ball line ups with DA, he’s proven his incompetence.

Please remember that some of these clips are against nations without a single NBA player or even EuroLeague player. He has so much talent and potential yes, but unlocking this version against actual elite pros isn’t easy. Of course the former #1 NBA pick looks special against players who were never even in contention to make the NBA.
