We also heard from RJ Barrett heading into year 5 and we speaks on potentially coming off the bench, doing whatever it takes to win. Tbh I would really love RJ coming off the bench. It creates a much more balanced team dynamic especially with Brunson, Grimes, and Randle taking tons of shots plus it allows Grimes to open his game and take more shots (as we all want). Defense gets much better with the starters and the offense improves tremendously with RJ in the mix with the second unit. It makes so much more sense since that hypothetical starting 5 have been the group to closeout all the games last season.

Dude, we have totally two different views on RJ. He's not quick enough to play the 2 offensively and defend. At the 3 his perimeter game is well below average e.g. no pull up, no catch and shoot and no pick and pop. At either position hIs 3 point % is terrible. Yes he drives to the rim BUT IS BOTTOM tier at finishing, doesn't draw enough fouls and isn't a great passer once in the paint. The numbers don't lie. ✌🏼 Not sure how people don't see it? We're (not me) so caught up on potential that we're blind to the facts. Rj and Randal aren't cohesive on the court together. And as for your hope is RJ taking the 2 from.
