Can feel the vibes are different from last season already.

JoKu and Moody looks locked in, and Podz looks really handy as well too. CP3 in a dubs jersey will take some time to get used to but he makes our play flow smoothly dude. Him running that 2nd unit too.

  2. shnieder88

that felt good. that felt right. that felt cathartic.

  3. xRaijin

Kuminga looked fucking fantastic. Please give him more minutes Steve 😭

  4. noodlebball

Shit I ain’t sad seeing Poole out of here

  5. schudermcgavin

    We’re going 96-0

Edit: and then we’ll win 2 more

  6. loongod5

Warriors beating the Lakers, WCF or preseason, a dub against these flea market shoppers is cathartic.

  7. Witty-C

Definitely different vibes from last season

  8. granttheginger

Turnovers aside, JK was fantastic. Hope he can keep this up

  9. Daconvix

The start of Kuminga’s rise to stardom (I hope)

  10. Ahrilicious

8 board. He’s ready to take that poole money

  11. emz0694

You could tell the energy was horrible last year just by watching this 1 pre season game

  12. limegreenleaves

It was so much fun to watch! I’ve been so starved of basketball.

  13. Boostaru

If Kuminga stays engaged like this all season, there’s no chance he falls out of rotation once playoffs begin

  14. Dynasty_30

This is going to be the year of KUMINGA

Overall the team just looks so much more connected. I’m so optimistic for this season. At the very least we’ll have less pull your hair out moments

  15. no actual analysis from me, fuck the lakers dubs in 4 this retirement home is going all the way

  16. livecents84

Podz looked 180 from Summer League… whole team was a + in the +/- lol

  17. arsene_0

Kuminga looked damn good this game. Liked what I saw from Moody too. Also the ball movement in certain parts of this game was really fun to watch. Liking what I see from Saric and CP3 so far as well. Fun preseason game

  18. HalfTreant

I’m digging this year’s depth more than last year but still missing some size

  19. IsThisMe8

This is not to disparage Poole, but it seems like another reason they wanted to trade Poole is because it opens up more opportunities for Kuminga to have the ball and score. Dario was such a good piece to add because I like how the ball can go through him at times.

With all the talk about Laker’s off-season moves, I think the one good one is Gabe Vincent. They’re going to be a good team because of the pieces they had last season and not because of Wood or Reddish.

  20. johnnygrant

Love the energy and dynamism, nice to see Chris Paul already looking bedded in with our offense even while still being himself.

  21. JohnB456

Didn’t catch the game, how our young guys look? Kuminga stats look great minus the 5 TO. Were they bad TO? I saw the highlight where he passed it to Steph outbounds lol for a split second I actually thought Steph was playing.

    ![gif](giphy|VTMal4i4v1TwGlab3r)

    Joyful basketball is BACK!

Edit to add: also massive shoutout to our 60 rebounds (to their 46)! Can’t get enough of our rebounding this game lol we understood the hell out of the assignment

  23. North_Street_8547

I missed the game..what app would I need to buy to watch this?

  24. theyipper

Podz looks much better and not out of control. Last year was definitely “push it and understand your limits”.

  25. fluffersarchive

    kuminga break out season loading..

  26. Both-Panic-8242

One thing I would love to see this season is Wiggins improving his free throw percentage if he can take it to somewhere between 80-86 % he might have a shot at getting the all star selection. And i love what I’m seeing from podz he reminds me of tyus Jones with his level headed behavior on offence and shroder defence with his on ball and team defence

  27. Bahamut_Prime

I was promised a PnR Kuminga beast…I got **THAT** and a freaking 4-8 3P shooter JK.

8 REB and 2 BLK was also nice. Just gotta keep the TO down.

Moody and Podz looked really good too between the 3 of them 18 rebounds was nice.

    Hope this continues all season.

Looking at the minutes it looked like Kerr was testing the 2nd unit more which is great. Starters got around 13 minutes average.

    More JK and Moody please!

  28. BeetLover1111

I know it was a preseason game but we looked pretty bad at preseason last year. We definitely have more depth.

  29. imlouminare

as a CP0 hater I 100% admit that he fits well on this lineup.

  30. Necroassassin32

Our bench is 10x better than last year. I’m excited!

  31. Trading JP for CP may have added 5 years to Kerrs lifespan.

  32. this_is_ely

That sideline pass to Steph on the bench was hilarious. I’m not even blaming JK on that, if 30 is open from 3 you move heaven and earth to give him that ball lol. Curry’s fault for not wearing warm-ups on the bench and putting his arms up like he was asking for the ball and he knew it.

  33. sunny001

Has anyone been able to watch this with their peacock subscription?

  34. likeamcnugg

Dario’s gonna open up the paint right?

  35. So this years second 5 to start the year
    CP3, GP2, Moody, Kuminga, Saric.

    Vs last year’s
Jordan Poole, DDV, moody, kuminga/lamb, and wiseman/JMG.

Not trying to be a homer but I see our bench being at least +5 if not +10 net rating better then last year.

  36. Ant_Diddley24

I love seeing it! We back at it baybehhh!
