    Let’s go P

(tradable contract if I’ve ever seen one)

  2. husky_falcon

This was not on my offseason bingo card…

  3. Wishiwasaballerbaby

Happy for Payton good value for him and the team

  4. RondoRabbit

Great deal for both sides. Can’t wait to see PP cook this year

  5. cheesepie29

Thought it was a trade when I saw the Woj bomb. People are saying overpay

Maybe it’s time for PP to be the elite sniper we know he can be 👀

  6. downpat

Last season Brad whispered in his ear, “be patient my dear prince, for riches await”

  7. PoiZoNxo

Good for him. He might be pushing 25MPG this season

  8. Frodo_Mk

30/4 is such a good deal and a lot of people are gonna realize it this year when he breaks out with 15/3/5 on 15 minutes per game and 50/40/90 shooting

  9. SfGiantsPanda

Dude is gonna surprise people with how good he is as he gets more minutes and chances

  10. Impossible-Moose-940

Let’s go! Paid PP will be different

  11. BadassBill31

I don’t get this one not gonna lie.

  12. Distance_Motor

Brad really loves them tradeable contracts

  13. TheMaximumUnicorn

Good for him! He must be ballin out in practice because everybody around the team has been raving about him and now Brad locks him up long term. I’m excited to see what he can do this year with more playing time.

  14. luke_workin

Would have rather seen how he fits with this new look roster first, but from all indications he’s been balling in training camp. And it’s very fair value and a tradeable contract next year. I have high hopes for PP this season

  15. chickspeak

Payton Pritchard will be the starting PG by Christmas

  16. SirFritzalot

All the reports from training camp about him being out for blood must be real, right?

    Good shit

  17. oldtype09

That’s nothing money in today’s market. If he can show that he belongs in a playoff rotation this year, will instantly be one of the best value contract in the league.

  18. MarquisJames

we aren’t spamming the sub with “cheap owner” this year? Interesting…..

  19. jaylson

Like others have said, very tradeable, but let’s not forget that he played a huge role for Ime during the finals run. Joe giving up on him last year never made any sense, but with Smart and Brogdon gone there should be a healthy chunk of minutes for him.

  20. Paper_Okami

People are freaking out. 7.5 per year is basically chicken feed with the current salary cap, also easily tradeable.

  21. ecclectic_collector

unfortunately I dont think we can trade him this year as part of one final salary agregation trade, but his contract is moveable enough that if they can flip him to a team below the 2nd apron with other players next offseason for someone that makes less than PP’s ~7.5 million salary… or just keep him as a backup…. either way its a fine move

  22. finstockton

So I guess he really is getting minutes this season. Fuck yeah

  23. DerelictDonkeyEngine

Great deal for everyone involved, happy for PP.

And if needed you could easily move that contract.

  24. iAm-Tyson

If Point Tatum becomes a thing and you can use him while staggering Jrue and Dwhite as the primary ball handlers, This could be a great contract to offload in the event that we end up needing some front court depth. Kornet is not a viable 3rd option.

  25. Interesting-Rent9142

Brad gets a contract he can trade, and PP is financially set for life. Congrats to both!

  26. Best-Reporter-1412

I must be missing what you guys see in Pritchard. I’m rooting for the guy but he couldn’t even be used in the playoffs last season because the heat were just targeting him

  27. jmikemac_

Great shooter, great pace pusher, hard working defender, but I’m gonna need to see better success when driving if he’s essentially stepping into Brogdon’s role. Feel like every time he attacks the basket he gets smothered by a bigger player.

Good value if he can generate a few layups a game in addition to the deep shooting
